MRT police officer

  Everyday when I take the mrt I will see alot of police officers patrolling.

  I know for sure they are not from SPF. Are they Cisco Auxillary Police Officer?

  How do I apply for a job as a Police Officer to patrol the mrt stations?

  They are from the SPF.

  Police MRT unit.

   

  The new independent TransCom will be esthablished end of this month and the whole MRT unit will double its manpower by next year end.

  why can't they give this job to the cisco officers?

  because.....cisco you have to pay them a higher premium contract.

  not sure about the premium but if govt can do it cheaper with the SPF itself, why pay more.

   

  The future bus and rail network will be vast. And the purpose for the new command is also to lead the way with strategies to deal with the network.

  You cant let the private sector take away normal policing duties. Not yet anyway.
