Generalist or Specialist

Recently, people are becoming far to narrow minded and should I say ignorant of the world of knowledge.
Many people know either a lot on a particular subject or non at all.
Yet, in the history of mankind, the art of generalism is celebrated. Which includes Leonardo da Vinci, Archimedes, Newton, Russell, Jacob Bronowski.......

Well...
Ppl nowadays are getting more self centred, thus the lack of GK in many ppl becoz they dun wanna care abt other things that are not of their concern.
They just wanna know what they are suppose to know and what they wanna know.

ppl oni wants to know info/knowledge skills tt are useful to them...aka they can make money out of it...
a lotta ppl think history, philosophy, literature... these ARTS subjects are not useful in today's society...so wats the point of learning them?...
i dun think we are narrow-minded...juz tt we tend to veer towards "economy-oriented thinking"... -
My advice to somebody:
Do what you say and say what you mean. -

Well Even though The people in this World Right now are self-centered but there are also people in this world who are willing to help another people not for the sake of money but for what they believe is good and right to do.....

in today's high-pressure society, it's difficult to know about your field and excel in it, it's harder to know beyond your field. there just isn't enough time for some people to know even a bit about everything
it's the exceptional people who can rise above all these and see the whole picture and be generalists
