We are looking
for some competitive bowler to participate for new season, any of you interested?
We hope to find some competitive bowlers to join our team, those who are quite "On-the-Ball" type, it will be great if your average is around 170+.

1. Are the lanes synethic or wooden?
2. Are there any penalty or reward system for the team?
3. Is the team objective is to win only?
4. Are you the team captain?
5. How many lanes are there?
6. How many teams would there be?
7. Wat's the format of league? 2 rounds?
8. Wat's the handicap based?
9. Is this the first time your team is playing there?
10. Any sponsorship? -

Anyway CSC stands for Civil Service Club. Think its around Toa Payoh right? Anyway...I want to know who else is in the team? If I'm not wrong, itsw synthetic lanes and there are alot of good bowlers bowling in that league right? Like the Sports Gallery people? -

Q1 : they're wooden, i can confirm cos i've bowled there quite a few times
Q5: 20....or was it 24......anyways its something like silverbowl where the lanes are split half-half...ie 10/12 on each side....
Oh and btw, CSC is at Tessensohn Road, nearest MRT would be lavender/novena.....i think! -

Anway, it will be of great exposure to the many type of lane conditions ard singapore. however, toa payoh says alot about whether most of us will join..ahha

Q2 : Yes
Q3 : Yes & No, we've got 2 teams (1 to win, 1 to gain exposure, now lookin for more to win type, thnk our team 2 may hv enough bowler leow) U guys may consider form a team there too
Q4 : No, but can influence
Q5 : 20
Q6 : 14-16(i think)
Q7 : Yes
Q8 : 200-ave /2 (ithink)
Q9 : 2nd time
Q10 : nope, do you have any? we would love to
Phew..... hope ans. all questions.
Additional Infos. This league is not as tough as compare to those at Classics and Plazabowl, but there are afew strong teams as usual.
Like u guys, we all started the same way, now some becomes better and wish to be even competive, some remians due to lack of practice or have other priorities.
We think if u want to be able to compete with those stronger teams, the entire team should not have too big a gap on average.
its very tough for the team to cover for a weaker bowler during league, coz lucks is never enough.
So, anyone is keen? League will starts on 22 Jul, if interested, please act fast, limited vacancies only. Thank you -

BTW,
The nearest MRT is NEL(Farrer Park) now 5 mins walk.
And JT, the guy u knows is now the manager there, up 1 notch leow
, his in our team too. He has done a great job there, am sure u will like the place very much.

I very much want to join but afraid that have to drop out half-way as I'll be starting my part time studies again next january 2004. Unless you guys don't mind. -
