NUS Invitation

  listen up pple, there is a sort of intervarsity organised by the good pple of NUS. this will include JCs polys and so on.
  we have been invited to take part and have been given 4 slots. 2 mens and 2 womens teams 4 per team
  
  date is 28 july
  
  and other details will be placed in this thread later
  
  form ur teams pls and put in thsi thread. i will try to get more places if possible.

  team 1 i will be in charge

  the gals teams saffry and lilian will form them. tentatively we have 10 new gals this yr wif afew very interested ones. we will prob get a rolloff to determine a few to select and bowl from them. the new guys i tink may not get a chance to bowl. depends on the seniors as they will have priority. more on this coming up.

  Hahah.injuries to knee and back are okay liao.left only my shoulder which is getting better.now working parttime at my old workplace daily.

  I'll be using my 14lb urethane shadow and 15lb blue dot if i'm up to it. Damn finger, still bueh zai. Maybe i should sell the other 2 15lb strike balls and downgrade to 14lb equipment.

  U can increase or decrease your intensity accordingly ... and the best thing is that U can derive immense amount of pleasure from this little exercise

  No, what Ding's saying is totally legit. I was skeptical at first, but now, i'm a believer. Thumbs up for [b]snot-therapy[/b], changed my life. I'm happy to report improved dexterity and increased muscle mass of the affected finger, not to mention cleaner nostrils---air has never smelled so sweet.

  Congratz to all who played in the NUS invitational. i must say SIM really showed them (NUS and NTU) that we are no pushovers. they better watch out in the annual SIM/NUS!
  
  lets recap afew of the highlights.
  team 1 (jae ian bernard and jeremy) was up on the 4th spot after the 4 game series and thrashed all the NTU teams in our way.Jae deserves particular attention as he was on FIRE! NUS was the better teams there capping all top spots. final spot.3rd place.
  
  Team 1 (female) had the lovely gals from SIM lilian saffry ava and ailing (isit? spelt that way?) getting themselves into the bakers also and clinching a medal! well done gals!
  
  Team 2, the freshies anchored by the aging bird. (iggy, KH , Adrian and jason) had a valuable experience in competition esp since they are fresh out from their lives in green. managed to get into the bakers road to final 4 also. congratz noobs
  
  i believe our path to concentrate our club on training has paid off. as opposed to being a rec club. this is a particularily happy day for me and the club as it has shown results. we are there gentlemen! now we just have to finish NUS and we can graduate in peace. lets work towards that gold/goal shall we?
