Hi. I'm in a dilemma right now. I need as much help and insights as possible. I am 20 years old right now and I want to get a diploma.
My problem is that I have two options to choose from, a 3 year Diploma in Business Informatics at NYP or a 1.5 year Diploma in Management Studies in SIM. Both diplomas offer about the same modules but of course Business Informatics will touch more on IT and the basics of business and the diploma in Management Studies will cover more on business and the basics on business IT.
I would like to know which course would open more doors for me in the future and which of these two courses would be beneficial for me if I were to get a job here in Singapore in the future.
One other concern of mine is whether or not I could cope with the 1.5 year diploma in SIM as there would be a lot to study and I worry that I would not be able to cope. Have any of you done this diploma in SIM before? Was it difficult to cope? Were the teachers' there helpful.
Please ake the time to help me out. Your insights and advice are most welcome. Thank you.
all knowledge should progress according to the times ...
there are too many management gurus and experts....a business informatics degree serves more in tune to the technological needs of the future while management still could be learnt from walking the talk anytime anywhere...
the gurus of tomorrow is techie-based...
I see. Thanks for the insight. I shall consider that.
