I wouldn't mind taking the bus, eating at hawker centres, walking in the park and going to places in the outdoors if only the weather was more forgiving. It is really through the hot weather that we can see clearly who are the ones that have the luxury of living it up, driving their luxury cars and eating in cool restaurants.

Its only a lifestyle choice that everyone chooses. Humans are greedy by nature. Who wont want more?

A friend of mine (well travelled middle class person from Sweden) holidayed in Singapore a few years ago. He said he found Singapore to be expensive. Interesting.
