In the past, when you were involved in a SS (secret society member of gangster) group in Singapore, the CID (SS Dept) would arrest you and throw you in prison under the ISA. That was indefinite prison date of release. You would not know when you would be out again to see the outside world.

Lets see now what could happen in Singapore in the future...lets see.. 1. The minimum sum of CPF will be up as usual from the current one as long the present ruling party govern Singapore till (wait and see) the 2016 General Election. 2. The image of Singapore will be seen like those countries from the Western world seeing foreigners as a big matter to social problems. 3. MINDEF will be looking into the implentation of volunteer NS men (especially for SPRs and for those foreigners seeking for PR status/citizenship. Many Malaysians will go for that option to gain that SPR or Citizenship status). The mandatory National Service Act will remain as it is as long there is no amendment to the current NS Act. The majority of members of parliament from the ruling party will pass the bill for NS Volunteers Act in The House of Parliament. 4. More Singaporeans will be abroad for studies and hoping for better future. Majority of them will not see Singapore as a place to be among family and friends anymore like they used to in the past. How come? These Singaporeans have decided that it is about time they migrate to other countries while abroad.

Will Minister for National Development, Mr Khaw Boon Wan be replaced? I think when the GE 2016 draw near he will be replace by someone who is seen by the ruling party to be more in tune with the Singaporeans expectation and needs for HDB flats (especially about HDB flat pricing) and Loans, as usual like in the past action of current ruling party to make way for new blood to take over the MND. In fact that person is assisting Mr Khaw Boon Wan now...hehe. Hope Mr Khaw Boon Wan will not mind him taking over his position later.

The opposition parties in Singapore will touch on issues of HDB flats, National Service, CPF, Education, Immigration and Foreign Workers, Health, Reduce Taxes and rebates, Retirement, Labour Laws and other democratic policy issues till the 2016 General Election. I think if they touch on issues pertaining to HDB, NS, CPF, Foreign Labours and Labour Laws, most Singaporeans will be interested and willing to know what are their plans or proposals for Singapore's future, especially the younger generation of Singaporeans. Probably issues of giving back to Singaporeans their CPF rights again will make Singaporeans most happy.

It is still enforce on those very violence hardcore SS members, especially on those who are still regarded as very dangerous to the public. As for the teenagers being caught as a SS member, they are usually send to RTC or under probation and it is mandatory for them to go through rehab process for instance in the weekends they will be "punish" to visit the prison and treated like an "inmate" by the warders of Singapore Prison Service. They are made to run or march around the prison yard. Of course all this are done while the actual prison inmates are lockup and separated from them. Finally, a mandatory counselling and curfew hour for these former teenage SS members. -
