THE 46-year-old barber in Clementi wore the latest designer togs and was suspected of serving two separate groups of clients - those who wanted trendy hairdos or drugs.
On Monday night, he was arrested by Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) officers at his barber shop, along with a 46-year-old man suspected to be his runner and two suspected drug abusers.
They are all Singaporeans.
About 1,432g of heroin, 55.5g of Ice, 825.5g of cannabis, 34.6g of ketamine, 145 Erimin-5 tablets and eight Ecstasy tablets were seized in the operation.
The street value of the drugs is estimated to be more than $261,000. Cash amounting to $5,110 and two Singapore-registered vehicles were also seized.
CNB officers had been monitoring the barber for more than a month.
One thousand four hundred and thirty two grams of heroine.
