To think the MOD still happily collaborating with the National Geographic to film the NS show and show the world what sissies our mama's boys are. hoho, when the world sees that photo then the totally diifferent image of the show, they will question the govt: what is the NS really abt? sissies or men? the show puts our mama boys as MEN; the photo states otherwise. personally, im inclined to believe the photo rather than the crap from that show.. :)

Worse, this was reported in taiwan news.

The person who took the photo could be warranted by the ISD as he created a bad image of Singapore by taking the photo and caused the news to spread overseas.

arh gua as long as got dick must still serve NS. it happens in lots of military around the world. in SG i have seen total arh gua bpoh serving NS, as storemen and clerks. There is a term '302' in the army. i believe this arh gua should be in the 302 division.

Everyone knows we have kengers and slackers. One example becoming visible doesn't dent our defence. Soft and unmotivated soldiers are undesirable, but it's a known fact, and the entire SAF doctrine is written specifically to counter it.

Writing it down is one thing. whether the authorities choose to folllow it and enforce it is a different issue altogether. whether the singaporean parents choose to bear this clause and the current 'sissy' situation in SG in mind when they think of how to treat their pampered kids is a different thing. -

sHitman you know what doctrine is anot? Yes weaklings will die in war, good because people like you will die and we will have a nation of brave men.

the brass says he's being "counselled"
i wonder how many extras he kena.. or is it really the NSFs these days are kuniang and he'll actually be counselled?
in the past the guy will probably kena court-martialled...
