Women's 'national service'

I REFER to Mr Xavier Lur's letter ("Narrow the gender gap"; Dec 28).
The last I heard, only women can bear children and hence contribute to the physical growth of the country. If this is not "national service", what is?

so far have not seen naked guys on cyberpioneertv, mostly is using 3 woman..'mother, sister, gf'
dun they remembered SBC helped to potray a +ve image of SAF thru TV drama... Like Army Series or tat simi drama tat Huang Wenyong was a PTI filmed doing SOC

But one thing she said about the boyfriend... my boyfriend grew fatter after being in camp... quite true... LOL.... some guys are known to eat like 8 meals a day in army....

they ate food from the canteen.. apart from the cookhouse... some even brought extra food into camp ... especially tidbits.

All Israelis must serve in the army when they turn 18 — unless, of course, they're special, like Bar Refaeli. Rather than go into the army, the 22-year-old model did other fun-young-gorgeous-person stuff like model and date Leonardo DiCaprio. But a group of Israeli parents of IDF soldiers aren't having any more of Refaeli's special treatment. The model signed a $300,000 campaign deal with Fox fashion chain, and the disgruntled parents threatened to organize a boycott of the chain if it didn't write into Refaeli's contract that she must complete her military service. Fox averted a boycott with a compromise:
Refaeli will represent the company and will simultaneously visit injured IDF soldiers hospitalized at the Sheba Medical Center in Tel Hashomer every time she arrives in Israel. In addition, she will encourage soldiers to serve in the army.
The way in which her “service” will be carried out has not yet been determined. The conditions were brought forth to Refaeli and she agreed to comply and to fulfill her duty voluntarily.
But this still feels a little off. So she's going to encourage soldiers to fulfill their obligatory army duty while she avoids it herself? That will be a great sell: "Israel needs brave people like you to protect hot bodies like mine!"

Man or woman also no difference, in both sexes, some of them will dodge the army also, if have money, both sexes will hang around their service term, being "white horses".
It's all in our hearts whether to serve, but with a PAPist government determined that people remain little tools for them to use and destroy, small wonder no one is willing to be yes man or yes woman for the PAPist regime and sarcifice their health and time for such pointless thing.
Time should be better spend getting rich or aiming to leave this country.
When you dead or injure yourself in the army, no one will help you, you will end up on the streets begging, and the government wouldn't care less, to them, you are just useless unproductive, defective puppet, no more use for them.
