Sembawang flasher arrested

POLICE arrested a man on Tuesday allegedly responsible for at least four cases of indecent exposure in the Sembawang estate.
In December 2010, the 20-year-old suspect prowled around void decks in the Sembawang estate, exposing himself and committing obscene acts in front of female victims, aged between 15 and 23.
Using a description provided by the victims, police spotted the suspect, riding past a block of flats on Tuesday at about 5.30 pm.
As the police approached him, the suspect tried to flee, but was subdued and placed under arrest.
The suspect will be charged in court on Thursday for an offence of committing an obscene act in a public place which carries a maximum of three months of jail time or with a fine or both.

Man sleeps on bench in front of HDB block, wearing nothing but underwear
At midnight every day, this man will make his way to a bench in front of STOMPer Sayidi's block, take off his clothes and sleep while clad only in his underwear.
According to the STOMPer, the man hangs his clothes on a tree branch before settling down for a good night's rest.
Sayidi says:
"Every day at around 12 am, this man will come and sleep on a bench in front of my HDB block wearing nothing but underwear.
"I have contacted the police several times, but this guy always seems to come back.
"He usually hangs his clothes on a nearby tree branch.
"This is very indecent because there are many woman and children who can see him.
"I hope he doesn't sleep naked the next time."
