What transpired here is not about saying anything in the parliament, parliament is more like a Mediacorp for PAP to put a show, because with or without debate, the bills were passed, agreed and chopped or stamped.
It is therefore, about force. Opposition athough do not done much since the watershed election, but it do provide a force within the PAP to stay vigilant, careful and most important work for the citizens to earn their million dollars breads and butters.
But, so far, what they had done is still very much from what was promised which Prime Minister said hours before the election that he is truly sorry for what they had done, they will change and change they will to care for SINGAPOREANS.
Let us visualise if WP did not won Adjuined GRC, what will happen?? It will cleary endoresed the PAP that their way of governing is correct, which is...
1. Increase more of FT and foreigner to generate higher GDP which benefit the Civil servant bonuses, more levies, more taxation and more low wage workers
2. Increase public transport with no mercy on the lower income
3. Letting skyhigh properties to generate behind a veil of market forces without any intervention, because higher properties prices gives higher taxation and stamp duty in term of percentage.
4. Impose high inflation rate
and so on...
And frankly, I am not a fan of PAP or WP, but I do feel that WP do help us in a way of adding pressure to the govt like saying..."Hey! wake up your bloody idea, dun mess up with Singapore Singaporean, do a good job for us to see"
Pls la...this bunch all tok like mouse...its not the numbers its the balls to bring up real issues.
JBJ also one man show in parliament in 1981....see how he tekan all 80 PAP mp...that time LKY come out parliament to speak to counter him face so red and boiling.
Can also forget abt his son KJ....keep on talking bout his father this his father that hear already also sick. Be your own man la...knn keep harping on his father....we all know what man his father is dont need to keep saying...we want to know KJ standard but so far is like shit..

Teck Ghee (LSL)
Kim Keat (Ong Teng Cheong)
Toa Payoh (Wong Kan Seng and gang)
I also got see dirty blocks, uncollected litter. In fact go Blk 320 AMK Ave 3 (St 31) Teck Ghee, the block was mouldy with green slime - never paint. You think because of this the voters gonna throw Lee Hsien Loong?
Tampines also last year had uncleaned litter, why? Because of of poor contractor, not because of political parties.
You go ahead and pray hard for your PAP. In fact everyday please pray for them.
I hope they win and after today win a every single bloody seat, so that they can increase the population, fark us nice and good, lets even get non SG to drive taxis.
Yes vote for a better future, vote PAP. Huat lah PAP win Punggol East, here got many supporters.
