Instructor says most of the infor here is talk cock, "doesn't reflect the big picture reality of (the) taxi industry"
He told us to read and digest on what people share here "intelligently".
7 influenced by this forum to take up TVDL while the others know of this forum after signing up for TVDL course.
Some uncles surprised that TDs use internet.
Nowadays breaktime the few of us keep discussing the postings here.
Quite curious about people here especially Poolman.

Newbies either new on the road or new in this forum had to put in some effort on reading.............
I guess not many newbies take their time to read from Page 1 like me last time...........
Only when one had read from page 1 till now, than you will appreciate the effort by Poolman and some of the old guards over here...........
During the long history of taxi forum, definitely had the high and low...........nicks come and go............nicks created to whack ts............nicks provide good info...............nicks angry with nicks and so forth..............
Newbies don't just simply come in and whack unless you had know this forum inside out..............
Sharing of info is the keywords...........but whether forumers take it positively is another issue..............
Of course many people know about this website, as long you know how to surf internet, somehow or rather will lead you to here............so no big hooha on this.................
When this forum was started, many old guards willingly sharing info............but recently all this old guards started to back out...........Reason?.........they feel threaten but in real facts, we all started as new as the newbies over here...............just that during those time, we don't have any senior forumers to rebutt us because during those time, this forum is new...........hopefully those nicks understand what I mean...............

Old birds feel threatened by newbies? You must be kidding. They just move on to cari makan after realising it's not worth the time and effort to carry on guiding new birds who are not appreciative.
I remembered BCL (fka TCL) once said to me that he won't mind sharing to anyone who took the effort to meet-up for kopi. Sharing has to be a 2-way traffic not just consuming and not contributing. We can assess a person during meet-up to see whether that person is worth guiding. Have seen many newbies come and gone.（�饱���股就走人）
How many newbie started humbly and 6 months down the road became ya-ya papaya, act garang and talk big. Some even posted their fantastic collections (with pictures somemore) despite repeated calls to refrain from doing it.
Just my perception that this is the reason many earlier forummers "retreated" from here. They just don't feel comradely enough compared to earlier days.
Cab driving is about each earning their own dough. TD don't have to envy or even jealous of other TD earning big bucks. -

What newbies deemed useful might not be those info some old birds would like to share openly in this forum. Whenever I read question like "where to get pax at ?.00am", I smile to myself thinking how naive this person can be to expect a genuine answer from the forum.
Even Pool keeps 20% of his kungfu which I personally am very interested to learn from him so that I could siew chia as early like he is doing now.
I might be able to "learn" 10~20% of this 20% which Pool kept for himself only if I made the effort to socialise with him through yearly gatherings, buffet gatherings, kopi sessions etc. Cos only this kind of bonding allows Pool to assess me whether I can be trusted as his buddy (like BCL & him).
If I am not willing to do that, then I will have to go figure out myself.

I dun really teach people how to drive a taxi , do i ?
I do share how i work ...... how i aim and strive for my daily objective , not just earning money . There is some other objectives that made me shiok .
Just that at the same time , i earned that little bit of money for that sheer satisfactions .
I aim not to go Woodlands , Yishun , Sengkang , Hougang , Punngol , Bukit Batok , Bukit Timah , Upper Bukit Timah , Sembawang , CCK , Bukit Panjang ...... if i never kena such places , if some others kena , it's my achievements .

When things don't turn well between forumers in realty world, the most scarily scenario was such that, he will use forum base to target and personal attacking the other party............it does happen next door before, not long ago.............
Personally, I also have been sabotage by forumers in another forum, I can understand that frustrated feeling, and Internet are so powerful that, sometime it can just kill off your personal life...........like Amy Cheong............
Therefore it shall be up to individual whether or not to disclose his/she identity..............
And for not disclosing one identity doesn't mean that he/she is not truthful on posting, forumers shall judge by he/she own self, whether this burger are bull shitting or honest in he/she posting................rather than just strike he/she off...............
Always remember, a coin always had 2 sides, if you had never meet up with this burger before.........definitely this burger also never meet up with you before.............

Meet up allow you to assess a person's personality when you can see his facial expressions. Can click then meet more frequent, if not then say sayonara, no hard feelings. We are mature adults, must know how to 好�好散。
I don't see the need to smear someone's reputation when things turn ugly. Must remember 山水有相逢。
