Toyota Crown , Mercedes and Kia Magentis are three example of cab i ever drove , drove a few hours nia , knn here pain there pain , fuck type .

Driving which companies can earn , which companies cannot earn ..... those value added also part a part .
Like what ? Cashless payment .
NETS payment , this is fucking important nowadays , never drive a cab without NETS , it is a handicap .
For some funny reasons , to pay $0.30 more when u have cash , people still pay NETS .

3rdly , flag down .... i think for the current trend .....
a strong flag down is far far more important than bookings !!!
This is the following for different flag down for different taxi .
1.Chrysler $5
2.Mercedes $3.90
3.SMRT Azera $3.80
4.Chevy All Red $3.60
5.Skoda $3.50
6.TC Chevy White Red $3.40
7.SMRT Chevy $3.40
8.Comfort Sonata $3.20
9.Silver i30 $3.20
10.Crown $3

Many felt fuel consumption is important , yes it is important cos it is overheads .
But i felt otherwise , the more fuel u used , means u have more connections , why not for more money ?
I dun want a machine that save money on fuel , but income low .
There is one good , no two goods .

That was one reason why after 5pm inside the CBD , u can see more and more Comfort and Citycab CHANGING SHIFT CHINATOWN , why they got so many calls still CHINATOWN ?
Call got $3.30 more leh ? Why Why Why ?????
This one i know ..... long story to tell if i am to tell u why ???
This could well be the theory behind on why we need a stronger flag down .

Noted Bro Foolsh2000 seems quite happy at CDG n also noted there’s always a long waiting list to be hirer of CDG taxis… For me I find this co to be the most yaya papaya towards TDs among all others... So I can safely say I wont be joining this co unless all other colours (Prime not counted) close-shop or follow their “good� example…Also appreciate chief Pool’s efforts to “shorten� the waiting list for them but don think will work… bigger forces at play here…lol -

Aiya , dun say until like that leh , LOL .I don't intensionally trying to shorten any waiting list for anyone or create Q-ing list for anyone or condemn any other taxi companies .
I just say how i felt ..... overall "PERSONAL" feelings .

Firstly, thanks to all the bros who have contributed/commented on this thread.
Went down to sign relief driving papers with the RED mob . . . . . .
Will be driving the day shift, 6am to 3-4pm, sharing the Epica with my course mate.
Will start driving after the CNY holidays.

10 hour shift for newbie, minus all the nonsense like pump diesel, makan, pee break.......left 8-9 hour, no good, you will feel very stressful everyday.........
This kind of timing is more for season drivers, already know Sg inside out.........dang Jiak is chicken feet.........
For newbies, if want to be a relief, better go for those 12 hour conventional timing..........tio bo, Poolman?........LoL

12 hour shift, either 5-5, 6-6, 7-7, 8-8..........
What I mean is, newbie still in learning stage, too short of time on the road, will add on more stress.........
Newbies won't know how to maximize your time on the road..........
So with slightly longer hour will be an advantage to yourself..........
Btw, 6-3pm, this kind of shift is for those jiak Ba buy pau type TD........tio bo? Poolman.........LoL

6am to 3pm , then night drive 3pm to 12mn .
This Chevy going to be very healthy , everyday 6 hours rest .

The TS at the first place , do not mind 6am to 3pm he mentioned to me .
Obviously he is willing and prepare the fact and to accept if his income is just so-so .

the best is go transcab get many complains first while learning, maybe pay a few $2140 for accidents, then once you steady liao, then join CDG

Yes, I know what I am getting into, the not so "hot" / lucrative hours for TDs.
I am a newbie so my thinking is, I want to drive around during these
timing, except for the morning rush, most passengers won't be in a mad
rush to get to their destination so I won't be under pressure to rush as well.
I am hoping to use the late morning and early afternoon hours to sweep
the different estates and get to know the routes better.
I don't have a fully paid up private property but I am also not trying to make
my first million driving a cab so I just want to take it easy in the beginning and
learn the trade before deciding how far I want / can I go . . . . . .

And Poolman, I am sure this Chevy will maybe have 2-3 hours, tops, rest / day, my hirer will make sure of that .. . . . . LOL

Mine Skoda also very healthy one , mine Skoda are like me ....

No lah, the best recruit training is Cdg, get the hard knock of it, then when post out to TC, knn, can shake legs and fark pax..hehehe..our chief also recruit from cdg one hor -

not so true now, last Friday I went to check them out, was told if sign u as hirer,
cannit choose age of cab, (all Sonata), can get within 2-3 days.
But must be hirer and of cos have to attend their MDT and all the other sservice and etc etc courses first, all within 1-2 days can complete.
