I joined Lake View cos my SOS will be heard , for just $3 a day for myself ...... my regulars around the island will have members to attend to if they call me .
So many positive effects for such a low premium charges .
And ...... just one call from Coconut tree , already press meter close door how much ?
$3 CBD , $3.50 booking fee , $3.50 flag down , $0.85 peak hour surcharge .
what is $3 for me ?

GPS , first class traffic infos , world class AP infos ...... when come to troubles like accident , tyre punctured , battery spoilt , dashboard lighted up , Sonata on fire ...... what equipements also no use , advices and help from fellow human beings will be the best resort .

Not one to be Lone Ranger ah Pool, i got several daytime shift contact but all also newbie.
Night shift only Tzarh, also new new.. LoL, even if got other contact i think at that time 830pm i also don't want bother them. Peak hour man..
Pool always coconut tree, control the population of termites so tree won't drop.. lagi scared to disturb...

This is one thing very good about LV.
Never kena myself yet, but have heard mbrs getting accident or car trouble and normally within 10 mins got help turn up.
Same with info esp expressways and ap, saves you a lot of time. You earn peanuts in a jam. Better to drop pax off fast fast and take the next one.
Taxi driving is lonely enough for most people, don't be lone ranger, join a group.

If I met this type of problem, I will give her the receipt and my bank account number,take photo of her ID,hp,address,office,card Got $ in bank means have,dun have than free than find her chit chat loh... As a TD,time=$. Wasted 1.5-2hours = $30-50 income. Than hor,never never ask for $13 if fare is $12.99. 1cent=over charge.some ppl treat 1cent bigger than Singapore flyer!!! Standby some 1,5cent for those stingy pax.fare $12.99,$13 given,return back 1cent!(I did do that,the pax was reluctant to take) Normal for me,10-30cent I dun take,just faster take and move off to pick up the next better pax.. Some may say,little bit little bit add up equal big $,I would say time equal to money.

members please note lta rules require to run down the figure. e.g $12.99 run down to $12.95 $ 8.74 run down to $ 8.70 don't give 1cents change , could be inviting complains for yourself

we hav a member... previously onli drive Sat & Sun... but he pay full membership fees...
no matter u drive day.. nite... onli weekends... onli once a month... watever shift... watever timing... can join LV...
but LV want quality drivers... coz most of our pax quality type... hee hee...
day drivers keen to join LV... can drop me a PM... I have a spare talkie can lent out...

Yes it's good to have friends or join a group, but also can still be lone ranger, if you know your rights and what to do.
Maybe this comes with experience, but really it all boils down to common sense, and maybe even 'dollars and cents'.
Think of yourself as working by the hour, every hour you should earn $x, don't do things that will deprive you of this, unless you want to, say you wanna eat or rest or do some other stuff.
Avoid trouble where you can, got many examples in this forum what to do, whom and where to avoid, what calls to take or not to take, what pax to avoid.
Remember this service we provide is not like a shop where your card is rejected, you can return the goods and not buy it. This is like a restaurant, after eating your meal, you must pay for it. Here the payment is made after the service is provided, so no matter what is must be collected unless there is good reason not to: you went the wrong way or wanna help an old or handicapped person.
For CDG, very simple either use the cashless receipt or call the operator and inform your issue. Let them advise you and follow it, because no matter what if you follow, CDG will pay you back, either from the pax or themselves. I'm sure other companies will hv some policy about this.
