Previous occupations before being a td.

  I ask LTA before at 2007. If your father/mother is a owner of the yellow top aka private taxi, You can take the TDVL at age 26. You can only be a relief for the private taxi under your father/ mother. Only 1 child is allowed to take at age26. TDVL are open to Singapore citizen,pink ic. even new citizen from hk,china,India,ang mo also can take as long as they have the pink ic. These new citizen does not serve NS but their children will need to serve. I do believe driving after the age of 30 will have better experience but I do not believe older ppl will drive more safety. I can say that I only learnt how to really drive well/safe when I took my class 4/5. For me,simple. drive safe,be alert.sent passenger to destination.mission completed.

  Last time I work for Sinktel.... then got replaced by people from land of smiles..... reason my pay can hire 2.5 of them doing the same job.......but sinktel seem to forget I can provide better cuatomer service and dun make cuatomer Dulan......

  Last time Poolman also start a thread on Army, but serving army, nothing to hide...........for this thread, I think many TD felt uneasy to disclose their ex-professional............hahaha........
