Lost n Found

Before i left Transcab , i rarely see lost handphones , lost ipad , lost blackberry , lost keys those messages .
Joined Premier even worst . . . zero announcements on air ..
Is it taxi comp . no longer need to entertain lost items .
Just curious .

when i was a cdg sonata driver . . . always Lost n Found messages before a call come in , or after messages . . . another cab on call past me .

So far my TC mdt at least twice a month got lost and found message. But I think June or July almost every weekend got. I also just found out when I went police station, if pax left something in cab on weekend can just hand over to police station, no need wait till Monday to send back to TC office.

SMRT everyday more then ten lost case, there's one day 5 trips originated from little india to airport all lost passport. All at different timings.

Things lost and found is natural, every one of us also lost something once a while, now a day people travel with more things with them, from bags to hp to ipad to laptop, cards holders, second wallets, documents and so on, once even got a safety shoes.
As long as TD do not lost themselves, I should said, everything is ok

Only experienced this once. I drive citycab btw. Same company with CDG.
Dropped off a pax. Pax left a phone in cab. I did not realise it. Picked up another pax. Other pax was honest and returned it to me. I called CDG immediately. Then CDG told me to deal with pax. I returned it to pax.
Point to note is, if the next pax picked up without letting the TD know, the TD will be accused of stealing it.

Me last week just got once, pickup a chio bu going to church, so you know lah, uncle see chio bu, a bit handshake, then she said go st Anne, so I drove her there, very polite and nice to me.
Late drop her off, swept SK floor a while, knn, obk, no pax, so go for a break, than when back my cab, hear a vibrating sound, thot knn siao liao, cab got problem, but then drive off, ok leh, so look down, saw a iphone ringing in silent mode, pick it up, lucky my eldest son in law taught me how to use the Iphone, so press and listen.
Then later went back to the church, they were having sermon in mandarin, weekday prayers, she waved at me, called me in...end up, I listen and sleep at church. But no bad lah, somemore got free tea break with cookie, pao and coffee.

I think no she like me, she like me to become a saint, how can...I free thinker lols, but got place to sleep, not bad, then later got energy to chiong KPE to town

Eversince 2 different pax left stuff (ATM Card and Sunglass) and the next pax inform me, i try to make it a point to always check back seat again after pax get down.
Not only fear of being accused of stealing their stuff, but also very troublesome for me go to TC office lost and found.

After the first incident, I make it a point to switch on the light and check too. But there is only so much a taxi driver can do.
Just imagine this scenario, you drop off someone. Before you can put the money in your wallet, someone enters your taxi. How to check?

I ever kena shake chio bu hand and kena slapped! Is it because you shake a bit but I shake a lot??

Funny never heard anything from Premier control centre before regarding Lost n Found ....
I drove how many Silver taxis liao ?
3 liao .... SIlver Star , Silver Kia and Silver Arrow ....
When Silver Star Group 1 , Kia and Skoda Group 4 .... also never heard before .
.
Maybe Silver drivers pro ...... on light check and let pax see clearly , 100% will not lose it in the cab ?

why ?
seats are sloping backwards, hence many freebies (especially during night shift at nightspot)... pax (those drunkers) will give you some nice surprises. ask Komade lah...

normally heard it in the day, but not everyday, once in a while you drive night so maybe don't get to hear to me, announce for fark, not all driver has walkie , i think less than 25% driver used so no point to announce. wait for premier to call you lah if item owner know the taxi number but hor you must go office to surrender the item and watse your time -

Got, she give me her office nos 62323535, so since no sincere with Hp nos, when she in return ask for my nos, I also just give her my casket company office nos.
And than I called, asking for Shirley, its was a guy telling me, welcome to pizza hut delivery, nabei...tio con liao, hope she get the casket operator answering her, welcome to Singapore casket, we got...

Please understand that anybody lost something is not somebody problem, it is the individual problem, if can find, we return, if not, too bad, there is nothing we can do, as long as your conscience is clear, why worry?Let said you lost something, its part and parcel of every human being to lost something, cos too many things already, so you went back to track your movement before the thing was lost, you took a bus to mrt, mrt breakdown, you went for a coffee, then you walk to a TS, took a cab, reach your place, walk to nearby 7/11 buy some cough drops, then proceed to your mother in law house, then you realise, hey, where is my Hp? So you track back..walk, kopitiam, taxi, bus, TS, 7/11..then finally you narrowed down to Taxis, cause that is when you make a call to your wife.
So you call up cab companies and give a description, cab companies broadcast it out, nobody reply for a few days, so how? lan lan lor, it is an individual mistake, one must take own blame, not plough it back to the Taxis driver or bus drivers or others?
