How come switching company become TJ taxi stand?.......
Same thing like what I had said before..........good old days already long gone for taxi stands...........
LV got playground, same go to TJ or BL or BR.............
TJ also got many good oldies like uncle Poolman willing to guide newbies into the group...........
But fark la........for social or knowing more taiko kakis, good la........talkie dang jia? or earn more?........lol
But hor, Tuas change shift back to East side.........shiok leh, without TJ or BL, cannot leh..........my friend, everyday, change shift from Tuas back to Tampines at 6pm....................without talkie, very difficult to archieve that, imagine last trip back home..........how much the meter ah?......from Tuas to Tampines, guarantee 1 leh................

No regrets taking SMRT's Chevy. It's just that swtching to CDG will reduce my operating cost.

Not a bad idea to join CDG .... and concentrate on just doing CDG's jobs , no need any talkie yet ..... trained until solid solid liao , then rejoin back .
My Tuas knowledge was trained by Comfort .
That's not a secret .
Plus a bit of our own effort mastering Tuas .
My BIL gave me a walkie and paid for my TJ's subscription.
I have more or less master Tuas. Thanks to my BIW, TJ and Joo Koon MRT Taxi Stand.
Time to move on...

Driving Chevy and Sonata might not differ much, but the operating cost is lesser for Sonata.

Initially, I was roaming the whole island and was doing ok. Then my BIW offers me 2 trips and I was tied down to Tuas.
Now I have more or less master Tuas, I only serve the morning trip, so I am free to roam around the whole of Singapore again.
Once I am more confident, I will also reject the morning trip as I still prefer to be paid with CASH.

Cos i knew he joined Taman Jurong Kiosk , since now he decided to quit SMRT taxi , i fully support him cos CDG and TJ makes a perfect match if he insist on holding on to the talkie , than SMRT & TJ radio taxis .
My final advice to him , since i understood how radio taxis and their members worked , i gave him my experience that being new , he might no suit to the environments of TJ radio taxis .
Cos most are old birds !
I can foreseen his problems .... if he adjust himself to what i recommended , he will never regret it .

$13 differences .
Diesel chevy if run smoothly , per litre from Shell now is about $1.33 .
CDG diesel $1.12 .
$0.21 cents diff per litre .
300km about $6.30 diff .
Overall Chevy plus diesel total overhead for 300km is $13 + $6.30 .
About $20 .
One month $600
Not surprised at all ....
