If members here who have seen such video and still drive like a moron like this chap , it is very sad .
But i know , most are aware of it .
Think .... if u dun like it , what makes u think if u do it , others will adore it ?

I really hope this chap to sent to another round of defensive driving course .
Singapore should sent such drivers or drivers that committed 12 demerit points to attend more intensive defensive driving course .
To save theirself and others .

Who said must be lane by lane?
I trained by TP, the correct procedure is Shortest, Fastest and Safest in changing lanes.
You can go from Lane 4 to 1, immediately if you take the shortest route there, it is the fastest and most importantly the safest.
From the video, it's not clear how much distance you were away from from him, I see no offence.

If this video is sent to the TP , and we both argue .... i would say TP would agree with me this is not the safest way to switch lanes .
if that is safe .... do we see majority of drivers do that ?
No , most switch swiftly ..... like i did .

I prefer those who practise switch lanes swiftly .

i do not promote reckless driving, certainly will get agitated with it.
There are many solution to it, but not pulling myself down to the lowest begin a "two five" to punish him, and hope for a change in the society.
And, begin a "two five" is not gracious, should remain in silent when you are one.

Many time, people get affected by the environment, the government, the policy, others behavior........etc, all these are not going to change for you, and it will still be there to affect you.
It seem wise to provide a solution to punish, to change others. But indeed, it is not a practice of wisdom.
Wisdom is best use on ourself to maximist our intention, conditioning ourselves to achieve our goal. It is use for Ourselves.
People may still continue to practice their "change the world to suit me", or even "punish the others that annoy me", it is their faith that their wisdom can only go that far.

Lan sai lah, TP teaching is of course different mah, they are taught how to chase after motorist, we are TD leh, not TP -

Singapore driving depend on the power of the car...........
Singapore driving powerful car is king of the road........that's why traffic police got to change their fleet of patrol car as and when..........
Singapore drive powerful car but don't make good use of it, is a waste of resources.........
Singapore..........if want to get angry everyday on the road........better don't drive la.........that's what I always tell my wife........

He from rightmost lane, filter only one lane. Then the other car start to filter when he is already in the 2nd lane, forcing him to go into your lane. [go straight to 2.00]
Yes he is wrong, but he also kena forced by the circumstances.
He could have jammed brakes (but will become danger to traffic behind him, if any).
But in that type of situation where quick thinking is required, as long as no accident,... "Thank you heaven".

The problem is our chief will not take in any benefit of doubts when the cab is a Comfortdelgro Sonata, if other companies, maybe he would had accepted some good explanation.People always said, Change your mindset, but to be frank, once a mind is set, it is very hard to change.

At 12mn .... CTE , always so clear , four lanes .
The question is : Is there a need to cut in 4 lanes just to go to Lane 1 ?
I was saying all along ...... this is never safe !
The safer way is lane by lane ..... swiftly .
My driving instructor taught me it is safest if u see from the right mirror , the whole car behind ( including the view of the head light behind ) , then it is safest to overtake or filter in .
I believe at my position , against his , he will not see my whole car .
I did not say he committed an offense , it's the moron way of driving .
U guys drive like that ? And enjoy to be with them on the road ?

And this is those kind of drivers out there , that made other road users see taxi drivers as reckless drivers .
Road users just need to encounter one driver like that , and all taxi drivers are bad !!
It is never fair to those taxi drivers who practise good driving habits !!!

I had said to newbies before , other road users treated taxi drivers differently on the road , and i really cannot blame them .
Cos some cabbies out there are really seriously in need to go for some intensive defensively driving course .
