.I also understand that once you touch TD, especially for a few years, it is very hard for you to go back to a 8 to 5 job, you can hardly get used to it again once you tasted TD life, the flamboyant life will be greatly miss. Unless you get a atas job or go into private business then maybe you can still get use to it.

It's been 3 months I had stop driving taxi........
Slowly adjusting to the fantastic life I had missed much........
I think is more on mind set.........
And also due to many negative impact on FT issues........
Never lost hope on anything, TD is good only on certain way, the cons cause more damages than anything else.........
Different encounter in life resulting in different prospective in life.......
If you think there's still hope in life, look for it, don't just condemn oneself to fate........
Especially for those who are still in the 30s.........
Sooner I will lost touch in taxi driving, and I sincerely hope that it will stay that way.........
Lesser things to stir..........

Of course, there are good and bad in everything, best is no need to work, go to beach, have a glass of martini with 2 bak bak gals and watch the world go by, but then we are all born to work for a living, be it rich or poor, self employ or employed by others.
As long as you hv a good personality, humorous and compassionate, able to suit into the situation and not ask the situation to suit you, then, I guess you have no problem in most thing within your level, the ability to adapt and evolve is a natural phenomenon of all living things.
And once you decided to go against that natural instinct of A and E, you shall remain more less status quo in your life, as said
if you dun move, nothing move
if you dun ask, answer is alway no
and if your door is not open, who can reach you?

bo bian leh , one day sure need your service to drive me ..... lol.... i actually need the use of vehicle for my mum, aunt n uncle but being relief for day should be not a problem.... -

some times back... my steering when turn till the end got a wooon wooon sound...
me not technically incline... so cannot pin point the problem... but at the workshop... i waited till the mechanic assigned came to my cab...
ah tiong... told him:"bu hao yi si.. not sure of problem.. but got tis sound when turn.... bla blah balh.... u the expert... pls see if u can solve it..."
end up 45 mins settled the issue...
on the same occasion... one TD was shouting to the mechanic "u dun know how i know? car got problem u suppose to fix... how i know wat the problem? i not mechanic... got problem u all dun know how to fix??... blah blah blah..."
it is all down to peoples' skills....

so relief for cdg is $50+ for 1/2 day...
and tc wish is $70+ and can use for whole day....
is just how u manage ur own timing....many of those td alway kpkb at toh guan cng stn from day1.
but many of them still driving it.

Fundamentally , half shift $50 , full swing $70 sounds okay ...
But not that easy one ....
Sunday people off , u still need to peh .
Sick still need to tambah rental .
If relief , sick just pay hirer $20 , sick how many days also can .
OMO sick , bank still need to tambah $100 for them to deduct , they deduct liao then can see $665 benefits .
Theory , works .
Physically , tough .
