what is the ideal speed for sweeping?too fast miss paxs,cars following behind may bump into u when u sudden break for paxs.too slow,other vultures like sonata will sweep down!

There is no best cruising speed. Only correct speed + driving skills and being alert and observant.
When cruising to sweep, stay in left lane within speed limit. If you see sonotas or worse! skodas on next lane, follow their speed. Maintain a 1 car distance so they cannot sweep down. Keep applying brakes or hazard lights to warn others following too close behind you.
But don't do this to Taxis with pax on board. Be observant.

If no empty blue or yellow on ur right, cruise at normal speed can liao la. If see mirror those two empty on ur right, then 'step on the lane line' as if u occupying 1.25 lanes lol Mai give chance. Other color cabs I seldom see them doing those dangerous stunts shown by those two colors.

Look behind u, left and right. If no see "Taxi" then cruise at any speed also can. There's a lot to learn. Especially night shift, it's a war out there. To me is all strategy. Which stretch of road chances got people? Which stretch is dead area? I ever brought Aunty out for familarisation of roads ; areas ; timings but she forget everything the next minute. U must learn everything yourself then u can survived.
Till now i am still looking for new hotspot.

yes,i tried out the best cruising speed is 30-40 km/hr,but must watch out for vultures fr Sonata!if they r around,better avoid them!sure lose to them!

Sometimes too fast , kena short distance , a few hundred metres away , the taxi behind picked one to Airport , cos got luggage .

Just past midnite was cruising along balestier road, probably 20kmh to 30km/h , in front abt 6 taxis , behind abt 4 taxis, all with distance the most 2 meters apart, was thinking this stretch of road would be a 'technical' drive ...
2 pax slowly walked out from somewhere, my front taxi(red epica) saw, slowed down but still cruising, pax did not put out hand, i slow down, pax put out hand , and i got the pax ... hahaha
Did not ask pax why din stop the red epica, maybe would get interesting answers, but chat on others matters instead
end of trip is pay by cash
