Can TD drive into JB ?

  Hi,

  Can our taxi drive into JB ? i understnd is can't unless with approval from LTA. Just verify with the seniors here... if must apply how to go about doing that..

  Singapore to Malaysia by Taxi

  All Singapore Taxis are not allowed to cross the border to Malaysia and vice verse.

  Only specially licensed Singapore Taxis are allowed to enter Johor, Malaysia and stop at Kotaraya Shopping Mall (near the Malaysian Customs). You will need to change to a Malaysian Taxi cab upon arriving at Kotaraya Shopping Mall.

  Specially licensed Malaysian Taxis are allowed to travel any where else in Malaysia, without the need to change taxi cabs. These taxis are operated by Johor Taxi Service.

  Malaysia to Singapore by Taxi

  In the reverse direction towards Singapore, you can take taxis from Kotaraya Shopping Mall (near the Malaysian Customs) to any point in central Singapore ($30) or Changi Airport ($40). The main advantage here is that you don't need to lug your stuff (or yourself) through Customs at both ends; you can just sit in the car.

  that rate is for Malaysian Taxis going to Changi AP (but collect Sing $).

  LTA no more issue Sin-JB license, according to my horse mouth friend.........

  Existing license holders already over kill, you could wait for companies announcement if there's any release of Sin-JB license..........

  The term and condition very strict hor, and deposit is not cheap.........

  Earning from the trip to JB is not fanastic, but many TD holding the license got other agenda crossing to JB more than the fare itself..........lol

  but they are msia taxi to begin with I think...

  Many at Queen road usually sd morning malaysians into Singapore to work, many malaysia prositute book those uncles, then the next day, they book them back. I use to pick lots of them from balestier, bencoolen to selegie hotels at early morning to Queen road, on the way, somemore can give me their hp nos and said.."Uncle, I give you special discount, call me"
