Petrol in diesel engine: Depends on how much was added to existing diesel.
Damage to the fuel injection pump and injector system immediately,
pistons and cylinder walls shortly thereafter.
Diesels are high compression engines. The compression causes heat that
causes the fuel to burn when it is introduced into the cylinder in an
atomized mist. Gas has a lower flash point, it will burn too fast and
cause extreme pre-ignition resulting in piston failure if it runs long
enough. Diesel fuel also is used to lubricate the injection pump and
injectors; gas/petrol lacks lubricating properties and will cause
seizing within those components.
Diesel has a higher flash point than gas, and gas engines a lower
compression ratio than diesel. Diesel does not efficiently ignite in a
spark ignition situation. The lower compression is insufficient to
assist the spark ignition to cause the cylinder to fire. The effect
will be sort of like adding water to a fire, it just will not work in
that engine.
Petrol engines are lower compression. They use a fuel injection
system but at lower pressures than diesel. The lower compression may not allow diesel
to burn at all, but if it does it will not perform well.
engine will not run well n u will get to no where

This 1 tua ki plus tua kong...........
Don't forget, taxi don't belong to us...........
If need to overhaul.........jiak luk.......
That's why if you pump your diesel outside kiosk like Esso or Shell......better DIY, you won't know whether the pump attendant will cock up or not......
Once my hirer pumped diesel at Esso CCK Ave 3 , that lady attendant pump Octane blue grade for my hirer's crown .
When my hirer paid up at Cashier , hellan why cashier quoted him dunno like $80+ , so he went to double check , knn siow liao , attendant pumped Petrol inside .
So my hirer straight away fucked there on the stop liao .... tio kan .
In the end , Manager came out ...... decided to call upon a contractor , that deal with such thing , pumped out those petrol and dispose it away .
And finally fuel tank empty and diesel was refilled in , all 100% esso diesel .
All fully paid by that auntie attendant .
After that i tookover .... the Crown's engine like Ferrari engine , *onggggggg Onggggggg" at F1 warm up knn ....
That was just a while later ..... back and resume normal .
But engine powerful due to that little bit of petrol inside .
Before i switch to a Sonata at 2007 , i drove a Crown for 9 months .
That crown everytime i pumped diesel , surely add $1 petrol inside .
Extra power and smooth .
And less black smokes .
so far never hear anything about saloon cars miscue top with diesel .
Dun think it will explode if u never start running .

wah auntie jiak buey liao.................
yah i always pump myself at outside pump.................rather safe than sorry..............
Petrol is a refine from diesel with additives, it flash point is lower but vapourisation is fast.
At kiosks, there is only a chance of putting petrol into a diesel engine, never a chance of diesel being put into a petrol driven engine, why? because diesel nozzle diameter is bigger than petrol, diesel more tua ki for tua hole.
Diesel engine goes by compression, and petrol goes by ignition of sparks, like spark plugs. whatever additive add to diesel in it composition would only enhance it liquidity and smooth flow, but in a long run, engine drink more diesel and cost goes up.
