If you are not commited to any timings, try 3pm to 3am or 4pm to 4am. For me is no horse run.
I started as a relief but then, as a relief, I was only taking home peanuts. New mah! need time to learn.
Never start as OMO. Unless you are like me, veery suay always get those knn hirer. Raining day must wash car; diesel pump not enough - pump at cdg then go outside pump again also not enough or telling me he very chin chye one (6pm to 6am) always handover at 6.30pm. Then when you handover late face all black.
After you learn the trade then you decide OMO or Relief but that's going to take a while
For me now Half F--k OMO. My relief drive Mon to Fri 6am to 2pm @$30. Used to having a car so timings was set by me. So, anytime after 2pm I got car to use.
Now looking for relief for Sat and Sun. If have, bonus. Don't have never mind.

Not bad, also good, provided the rental is low, there are many hirers who do the split shift type, so from 10 to 5, instead of parking at carpark, a $20 -30 extra income while resting is not bad for hirer, at the same time the relief, also can add the niche of the rental and timing to earn his living.

Many OMO aka Hirer prefer to drive day, and not easy to find a hirer who willing to let out day shift......and somemore must near house etc......

Poolman drive night, of course he is treated as "high demand" in taxi market......suka suka can throw key......suka suka can fark day hirer......suka suka can change car.......

I had read a lot on this kind of topic over here, mostly are NIGHT DRIVERS giving advice.......I had OMO since day 1, from crown rental of $92.xx to Sonata, $104.xx to Mercedes $123.xx, I adjust and adjust my life style to suit my need, and I'm marry with 2 kids(still young)......Of course, now no more driving, but is not Taxi beh dang, is because I found better option in life.........
To be Relief or OMO, no right or wrong, when you committed to high rental, be prepared to get shit, simple as that.......that explain why I rejected $159.xx Mercedes, I know myself, I cannot make it, simple as that......
