Courtesy from Premier Taxis . A simple instruction on how you deal with it

Get the following details as suggested by LTA to assist with investigation for such cases .
- Obtain the passsenger's particulars and contact details . If the passenger is unwilling to provide such information . The driver may sent the passenger to the nearest NPC or Police Post to lodge a report . Alternatively , the driver may call the police for assistance .
- Note the date and time ( boarding and alighting ) of the incident .
- Record the locations ( pick up and alighting )
- Get descriptions of the passenger ( gender , age , hair style etc )
- Print the fare receipt as evidence
- Lodge a non-payment of taxi fare report with your taxi company . Pls refer to different taxi companies with different policies .

So .... as what i see from the article , we are not wrong to get pax NRIC to collect their details .
If they do not want to show their NRIC .... Mata Chu no need say much .

Waste a bit of time , it's ok !
Dun because of earning just that bit , let culprit off .
And more victimised cabby suffered !!!

Not everyone you want to take. Is it worth it for that few dollars when your eyes read their body language and tell you something not right.
Trust instincts. After a while as TD our instinct level does go up. Those that don't, just mean they too greedy.

Esp midnight 50% liao ....

So in future , anyone encounter such thing like : " Uncle u wait here , i go up take money "
or
"Uncle , u wait , i go lift take money ."
I suggest u be more ruthless ..... cos we got Police , LTA and taxi companies back up .
Take NRIC ..... adddress .... or leave down their handphone .
If dun give , Mata Chu .
Either they wait for that person come down , or leave down their money . No other choices for them .
No money cannot go .....

Usually they will say : " Uncle , dun scared , i will come back ."
Dun believe them , must be scared .
Tell them the truth , u scared . Cos u kena until scared .
Pay now or stay here wait for paymaster come to u , tell them .
If wanna go , handover your NRIC or driving license .
Come and collect with the money .
Or their handphones ./

If u have Camera , like me , i will take handphone from them , i will give them a receipt , cos my camera and voice recorder recorded everything .
Whether or not i go or not ...... date and time all inside data base of camera .
Come and sue me for taking your handohobe lor and run ..... my camera can show i didn't run .

Many dare stunts , cos many drivers many let those bastards off the hook .
And that did not do other cabbies any favour !

My camera had recording the pick up point .... their face if got .
The journeys , the conversations , the end point .
Those conversation between driver and pax .
All audio recorded , cannot escape one .

Got once a few years ago .....
I proposed one guy to put down his IC .
He said " cannot lah uncle , u take and borrow ah long ." in joking tone .
I replied ; " If u run , i will take borrow ah long and pay the taxi fare " , also in a joking tone but sarcastic .

In Singapore's current state .....
We have a bit of peace when Singapore has got 3.5m people , just 3.5m people . Withour 2 Casinos .
Now with population increase to 5.08m people , the risk of pax evading fare will definitely increase .
Esp with the 2 Casinos , since the 2 Casino started ....... so many broke liao .
Midnight no bus no mrt ......in the end , take taxi and stunt taxi drivers and run !!!

yes there are a lot of youngsters now who do this. yes you must deal with them in this way, no other way. what happened to the youths these days? lazy and stupid and lacking morals

I was at china last mth... I observe the moment i step in the cab in china.. There are 2 cameras. One position at the dash board racing the rear pax.. One at the left side near driver facing the pax... No horse run... Once step in ur faces are captured... Some of the cabs have installed metal grills in betwwen the driver and rear pax...

tat last time 3 si gina tried to run my fare 1 kenna caught n got slapped by me.............
si gina got $$ to pay juz wan to run for fun............PHUi!!!!
in the end pay me extra n kenna whack also LPPL.....................
