My friend said there is $5 surcharge for enering into "F1" area. to pick up passenger
My hirer told me not! to go tio F1 areas.

F1 TAXI SURCHARGE
A $5 surcharge is payable on top of the normal metered taxi fare and other applicable surcharges for taxi trips commencing from the following locations within the specified timings:
Date Time 21 & 22 Sep (Fri & Sat) 10:30pm to 12 Midnight 23 Sep (Sun) 9:30pm to 12 Midnight

Waste time la the $5. I think every year maybe I collect only 1 or 2 times max. So many TDs wanna queue for this, waste time, night weekend in town wanna queue for more than 20 mins?
Really dumb. Only pick and go, and must be at the correct time & location then this can be beneficial.
Plus these stands usually will have LTA officer there.

It is $5/** on top of the usual surcharges. Current booking $3.30+ $3.00(cbd)+$5/**=$11.30 even before the taxi starts moving. But then this is not as good as SMRT got $10/** not $5/**.

I also same thing Sun, 12:16 am pick up at Ritz Carlton..still so many pple around after 12 mid nite..
after that got a on-call at swissotel stamford
