really have to change tactic to drive during f1. somemore garment just sign new 5 year contract.
ytd went ap 4 times. took peninsula 3 times.
milage went up by 30%

I would appreciate if F1 night race to move to somewhere's else.
No more Marina Bay Circuit ..... i getting stale of it .
Pls move to Garden by the Bay area ......

Now for the next 5 years planning ....
A few points they need to take note .
First , traffic control .
After so many years .... those roads leading to near the F1 border .... must be seriously looked into .
Places like Havelock Road towards Pickering St , the jams was caused by vehicle occupying the yellow boxes @ Eu tong sen Street , causing the rest of the traffic to be in stand still .
Traffic wardens and Traffic Enforcements must be there to keep out of vehicles stopping inside the box !!!
After 5 good years , nothing has been done to counter the issues .
All Traffic Enforcer was found to be surrounding traffic areas which has no jams at all.
Just too much Enforcement saturating in one area , neglecting those viral areas like Eu Tong Seng ..... Beach Road ...... Victoria Street ..... Bras Basah .....
Particularly Finlayson Green ..... this junction must be well controlled ......

The best is .....
Traffic light at Finlayson Green to be shut down ..... controlled by Human Traffic Police .
Road leading towards MBFC and ORQ to be shut down , all traffic to be re routed via Shenton Way .
Those proceeding to ECP , or MBS , pls use Shenton Road Prince Edward Road into ECP .
SO , as in traffic is moving all the time .
Now because of the traffic lights , all jams tail back until Havelock , it's fucking crazy .
Those going to Hitachi Tower and Fullerton Bay , and Fullerton Road ....... that U turn towards Shenton Way remains .
And during F1 period , that Finlayson Green road island that divided Collyer Quay and Finlayson Green , to be dismantled !
That island is one pain in my ass .

Those going to MBFC and ORQ , LTA must make them come in via Bayfront Ave from Shenton Way ( out into ECP then come in via Bayfront ) ....... now it's one way traffic , for F1 period , Marina Boulevard to be converted into 2 way traffic .
In and out by Marina Boulevard .
Marina Boulevard is broad enough to be converted into 2 way traffic .

And seriously Ceceil Street and Robinson Road , at some stage of the day , one must be block .
All divert into one Robinson road ...... now Cecil Street , Robinson and Chruch Street all bottleneck into Finlayson Green ....... crazy !!!!
One lane for Robinson Road to U turn into Shenton Way , without any traffic lights .

Cross Street from Shenton Way must be cut off !!!
That traffic light is another pain in the neck .
If they want to use Cross Street ....go up Maxwell and turn back .via Robinson road .
That Lau Pat sat Cross Street section must be blocked totally .

I summaried ...... Finlayson Green , Cross St , Eu Tong Sen , Church Street , all problem areas need to be resolved .
This intersection problems solve , the rest will solve .

i swear for the next 5 years ....i will tell my partner to let me go holiday for a week one week before F1 .
I had enough !!!

LTA must open up Mcullum Street into another alternatives into ECP from Robinson .

i have almost zero experience in F1, every year siam buey hu, $8 + meter is not encouraging enough to let me go thru the jam.
cover, make a little, keep car.
indeed, this is my strategy on all big event and holiday, many time even throw rental.
i like normal day, working days with office crowd

I only ply along bugis, tanjong pagar and the close one would be those victoria hotels, not bad lah, can huat abit...hee hee. Usually my paxs going to F1 are expatriates or tourists, and the one I pick up at CBD are local younger guys and couples rushing back to watch EPL, if not may not take taxis..got one couple quarrelled in my cab..cost the gf still want to shop, but the guy want to go watch EPL...

in taxi driving, what i want is good connection, good traffic, no need what 25% peak, no need what $3 surcharge..........
to me, surcharge is merely a little compensation for us to travel empty and wait, there's no way to lead us to a better earning.
some will say, got surcharge is better then nothing,
ya, we can only be better then nothing
and is given, better then nothing
