Hilton Hotel bellboy very cunning

It was a sunday night 7plus pm, actually wanted to alight my pax way before the lobby, but as it was drizzling, I stopped under the lobby shelter more towards the right side, 2 metres away from the hotel queue
But when my pax alight, the bellboy quickly run towards my taxi and hold the door so tight as though as holding on to his life, somemore without asking me and beckon the ppl on the que to board my taxi ! no respect !
Lucky was a pax in coat go CBD, if go any kangs, den
Any way to counter this scenerio ?

I think the bellboy worry you move off, so chop the door first, some cab I see, like you said, go CCK or ah wood, tua ki liao, many cabby drop far away, then see who is on the front line Q, if local, forget it, those cheapo must have walk all the way from orchard to avoid the CBD surcharges, knn..this is another point that LTA should include CBD till tanglin

cos 99% of those taxi drivers will run ...... regardless of paxes going to cbd or not ?
That's why some concierge at Hyatt will ask me : " Bang , MBS can ?"
Normally , to MBS from Hyatt is good trip .
But due to my matter of principle , NO !!! ON CALL !!!

This problem created by LTA and taxi companies . Get them to solve the problems .
Not me to solve their problems .

just tell passenger sorry no pick i urgent want go toilet and ask him get out,then tell the bell boy dont anyhow.
Actually every where in Singapore be it Lim chu kang or Pasir Ris or Tuas should have extra city area surcharge $3 because Singapore is Lion 'City' ma so everywhere is city area.

The problems started when Comfort started off those CBD $3 , outside nothing , one way or the other , it's indirectly forcing those paxes to call 6552-1111 , so they can earn the $0.40 levy .
So i let those passengers or hotel call 6552-1111 .
I got better things to do .
They created the problems , they have to solve it , and solve it with their drivers .
Not me .

These people are cheapos , want to save $3 and go to outside cbd .
So no for me !!

Inside cbd i rather hide under coconut tree play Galaxy Note than sweeping at road side inside cbd , unless i good mood interview .
No call no take one for me .
I rather earn less than to sweep outside CBD .

what i ever did to this , so far twice 1 . continue to drive pretend door is close but very slowly, like this then he will show respect by speaking out of pax want to take or no, then i will give reason that i closed shop liao, but for those who at least ask first with respect, i normally try to help 2. once i just step out of the taxi when they just ask their guest to sit in. when the pax look at him and he ask me why, then i say i tire want to home liao

I will take if given booking fee...... with destination .
Just outside cbd ..... if cannot get their $3 cbd , must earn their $3.50 booking charge .
Earn $3.50 not important , important is where pax going ????
Destination is important .
Pay me $3.50 go Woodlands ?I rather go inside CBD interview .
Still earn $3 .
This type of no destinations call , pls call 6552-1111 .

I dunno why, when suddenly anyone just try to jump into the cab after dropping off, I'm always hungry and have to refuse to go for dinner/supper!
I think this sudden moves has a direct effect on my stomach!

Usually most bellboy will know which pax will give tips 1........
When they are so insistence to get a cab for pax, most likely..........
Good things is........Bellboy and Taxi Uncles have 1 common understanding.........
Which is......we all dislike taiko customers.........
Of course, as a TD, just tell bellboy nicely can liao.........don't need to get so work up.......

True, but sometime, is changing Hotel..knnMet a few cheapo ang mo changing hotel from shangri la, MBS tower 1, Mandarin to New park, royal and york, then I ask them why, hotel 5 stars no good, they said, oh,..service no good, call these never come, slow...knn,...no money to pay, said no money lah.

Driving taxi, Hotel is one of our bread & butter......
Day drivers will expect long distance trip in the morning rush hour from Hotels.......
Night shift looking for departure........
Than same like any other countries mah, tourist, businessman, ah Tom, ah Dick or ah Harry will hop in your cab, and sometime, the places they go are damn TL type........
Unless you are very sure, ban all hotels.......which I think is quite impossible......lol
