if pax need taxi... can call for a cab...
if TDs cannot find pax... any hotline to "call for a pax"?

One story ....
During SARS period , taxi driving damn shiong one , cruise here cruise there , no people means no people .
So one of my taxi kaki , dunno how , from Tampines cruise to Pasir Ris , then Loyang , then dunno how , cruise til Changi Village !!!
Still no pax ..... so he went into CHangi Cargo Complex , but must past by guard room .
Guard : " Uncle , going where ? U not ON CALL?"
My friend answered :" Search for paxes , outside no paxes , can let me go inside find ?"
Guard laughed ....let him in .

Thats why newbies must start with CDG .... no street paxes no scared , got MDT !!!!
Now TransCab and SMRT also not bad , still can get calls .
But to start off with CDG relying on calls , no good also .
Soon becoming a habit , so once no call , they surely dunno how to sweep .

i now post my topic here cos if i start new topic somebody will delete it off.2xs happen already!guess he/she trying to protect something! ok!the story is that when paxs at taxi stand see a Crown or Nissan,they will deliberately not take it,giving the lame excuse TD don't have NETS,since they already know such taxis don't have NETS!or else they ask next pax to take!as if doing them a favour!hope this thread don't get deleted again!hope all those TD drvng Crown or Nissan please support!

Phase out the crowns n cedric please...Slow yet noisy... Complain others hijack pax... No nets la... Yesterday i was opposite road pavemnt.. One bLue comfort engine sound like rubbish truck... Really noise pollution...

pros and cons.
face rejection once or twice a day in my crown. get used to it after a while. this is business and you can't expect to be winning every time. same for the mercs and chryslers, off peak they also have pax problems.

.. Can, why not, but instead of pax having to pay the on call charges, taxi driver have to pay for the charges, like this hor, many pax will be waiting on the hotline, as for Taxis companies, they fark care paxs or cabby paid, as long as got leviesto -

Bro foolish.... aiyo why u so into this topic.... Look before i becum TD or even now, i see crown or cedric, i siam... why... not comfortable ma.....Seat old, Manual hange gear jerk here n there... Thats y i prefer auto taxi like sonata, wish, chevy or even mercs..... The price difference is only alittle nia but i will get a more pleasant ride.... it is normal you will face rejections... Give n take. You are trading cheaper rents with pax rejections... -
Ya lor, cedric , some pax say, c di di liao, crown make them look like a clown, at least sonata is a musical note, winter sonata, korean like, jap like, ah neh also like, even local also like, sound like got something to so here and there
.as for wish, you can make your wish come true, chevy sound very sexy and ladylike, and for mercs, no need to say.

fools , when u create a post , instead of saying "pax' , make it like " cedric and old crown" , more focus on the vehicle itself than paxes .
Then the thread will not be deleted .

i know those with new cars like sonata,chewy,mercs can say that!but think about those older uncles can they afford those new cars?i for one can only afford Nissan Cedric!

Not true leh, I also see 70yo uncle driving sonata, chevy and some late 60s with mercs, 3 rifles long sleeve shirt, topman pants, like OCBC chairman, I think it is more of your mentality to change.I drove for many hirers, some crown, some epica, some sonata, last time also include silver magnetis and i30. What I would said is that, of course driving for crown is cheap, spare parts also cheaps
, but as you drive along, you get tired very fast, and then like your mentality, keep seeing other auto cab zooming pass you,,..knn seibei buay song, paxs mostly is no problem, only a few siam us, especially PRCs, the chinese are smart pax, they knew 20cts do not make much different.And then I also drive sonata, epica and sometime mercs, sonata and epica with no doubt, earn more because of it swift, speed and good pick up, you get tire lesser, and as you know in TD, tireness is a major key to our earning, once you are tired, you want to go home, or you tends to make mistakes here and there, which can be costly if you get banged. So between a $50 and $35, the diff is only $15, you go figure it out, with auto cab, from my experiences as relief for both, they can pick up a few more pax, and as for crown, before you reach AP with pax, those auto one would had took a pax out liao

If back to those good old days, beside crown, still crown.......there won't be so many TD on the road............don't believe me?........
Personally, I still prefer the $0.10 era, at least we know, during those time, only same "calibre" TD than holding the steering.........
Find me a graduate those time, I chop...........lol

Wah today ard 5 + mOrning from changi airport towards blackmore drive... One transcab crown zoom probably 130-140km/h... Along pie thomson... Tio stunned

Ya their sampan power! Once I also kanna high beams when doing 120kph ECP he doing at least 140kph once I give way he zoom pass me very fast. Scary
