or How much are you gonna to believe from a Taxi Driver.
Relate to you a hirer's real encounter,
this hirer stopped on the right side of busy gelang to let pax alight
pax open door , then from behind a pte car PIANG the door
Taxi co counter staff wanted hirer to sign acknowledge fault
Hirer make hell lotsa of noise in office, even escalate to the supervisor
Then supervisor pull hirer one side to say softly, pax open door kenna knock incident, insurance got cover, no need to pay
so you see, a lot of things can settle one dun worry ...

Hirer of the incident from what company?
One door loss is it equivalent to other heavy damages to other parts of the taxis? Last time about 3yr ago, I saw a lot of taxi doors at TAN LIM MOTOR in Defu for TC. I dun think CDG Loyang and SMRT Woodlands have no spares doors? All tactics use by the company and workshop to claim more monies from drivers. But if driver is a fault, then he really have to bear with it, why? Because he did not stop in a safe way for pax to board or alight.
no chance ,once pax open door motorcycle hit my pax door slight dent ,got police warning for negligent ,just try tour luck.
100% no chance. GIAS (General insurance of Automotive Singapore) uses the BOLA Chart (Barometer of Liability) to determine whose is at fault to speed up insurance claims. Unless ur friend have video evidence that it was done intentionally. No hope.
