Dat day sit a transcab crown, a 6 year old one.
Damn powerful, engine sound smooth, not much vibration, going constantly at 130km/hr
He say put something in the engine oil compartment 4 times a month, but did not tell me what, he just say can buy from petro kiosk
Anyone knows what it is ?
130 km/h in a crown? i think u have a right as a paying customer to F him for endangering your life.
If TransCab crown, should have bought from Gary.......
Last time(don't know whether he still around) got 1 SMART crown Uncle, claim that his crown can do all kind of stunt, always can see him at T2 canteen......his crown can even win Subaru WRX, his talk so loud that even in toilet behind canteen also can hear......lol
Saw him in actual action before, really can do a lot of stunt, farking dangerous driver........
All taxis are either Euro IV or Euro V emission as per required by LTA, so adding additives may affect the catalytic converter. Guess how much it cost to replace a catalytic converter? Is it worth the risk for a faster taxi?

Nemesis of all crowns..... Kekekekekke
Transcab just get the china man , bribe them some kopi money , get them to release the oil control .... taxi company " park you" so to avoid too much black smokes on the road .

eh he say engine compartment leh bro not fuel tank
Oh, misread. But if need to put in engine compartment 4 times a month means it is a consumable. Anyway, not sure what it is so I won't comment anymore.

There's a difference between boys and men
If the WRX dare to do 150 to 160, the crown can just sit and watch it cruise pass
I think the threshold of crown is abt 140
Probably the WRX is a newbie ... hahaha
At some point of time, i guess most of us here, have either overtaken a WRX, or have been overtaken by a WRX ...
These additives are nothing but lubricant for smoothen piston movement, just like KY in sex with older women, however, it will leave alot of residue in it process, like charles said, your cataytic may up lorry very fast, you can sense it with those funny smell from the exhaust, and also, with residue forming from the additives, your piston ring, liners, crankshaft bearings and con rod bearing shells will worn off faster,
As times goes by, the cab will need more fuel or CNG then others, and like a addict, the cab, in a long run would need that additives to perform, 1 week 1 bottle, just imagine how much it cost you in a year

Haha.....how he beat that Subaru, never see with my own eye.....
His story telling so loud that everybody can hear his bullshit story.......
From the way he describe, the only way he can beat Subaru is making use of road condition to his advantage, I think those racer should understand what I meant......
I think the only chances a Subaru WRX will trail behind a crown, provided his number plate start with QX.......and with siren on........lol
Last time my crown also very powerful.......someone teach me, take out something and cover something........
Don't need additives..........

Crown beat WRX? wah his hole super big .
cannot be used to describe him.
i would say hes more like
The farking wrx 230 hp version can already do 6-7 secs 0-100. if the 305 HP STI lagi fast.
but muz give him benefit of the doubt coz some WRXes are juz basically imprezas

no offence to the crown bros in here but this is strictly my opinion of crown drivers.
They are damn bloody selfish , hog lane 1 and refused to get their slow asses off . Queues of cars can be lined up behind them but they simply refuse to move.
i dunno if its their ego at play or they are juz out to frustrate other road users. From the SMART to CDG to Transcab crowns all the farking same.
for heaven's sake man its 2012 , get a faster vehicle pls.
or if choose to drive a snail , then get the fark out of the way!

I dunno wanna stereotype usually but whenever u see a long pile up of vehs on the first lane, very likely at the head of the pile up is a taxi holding up all the cars and most likely the taxi is a crown.

I can't agree more, dun stop the world from spinning......hahahahahahahahah.

Is the braking system n suspension as powerful?

wahhh if i saw the uncle at airport lineup i might interview...wah uncle yu so famous arrr...can makan subaru...how yu make subaru smell yur ass?
i say 9848 crown is powerful not saying he is the cannon
Sometime I drive crown as super relief leh, very cheap, but alway forget to change gear..second gear drag very long, then realise knn, not auto.
Anyway, I ever kenna fark by a wish, a sonata and also a private car for being slow, the wish TD somemore call me a clown..knn, lim peh know cannot match up with their pick up, so never give chase.
Driving crown actually can train one patience, after a while, you fark care who horn or middle finger or fark at you...all these become dumb to you..

engine brake is very efficient in slowing down the machine
when we drive crown, in an emergency we down shift instead of stepping hard on the brakes
most of the time its just a light tap on the brakes after down shifting and the whole veh will stop ...

Agree that engine braking coupled with brakes is more efficient than relying on brakes alone.
I can't agree with you relying on engine brake alone without stepping hard on yr brakes in an emergency. If you're doing that in a low speed situation it's still relatively safe. anything in excess of 90km/h and if you need to stop in a hurry, engine braking will not be able to bring the car to slow down fast enough. i.e. Car traveling at 100km/h in fifth gear, you can't use second gear as the speed is too high to be able to engage. You will engage third or forth gear but you still need to rely on brakes.
Many a times enthusiast upgrade the engine to gain speed but neglect upgrading of stopping power n handling of car. All three dynamics must be upgraded in unison, ignoring any part of the equation is simply suicidal. You can speed and stop fast but if the car's suspension can't handle, be prepared to hug trees. Since you're driving crown, tell me how is it's suspension like. Very often I see crowns wallowing along bends/corners like a sampan due to its soft suspension, hence I asked if the braking n suspension powerful as well earlier. If a crown execute an emergency braking too fast, its front suspension will dip excessively and weight distribution will be shifted to the front. Leaving the rear end lighter and rear wheels with little traction thus leading to fishtailing effects. You may also experience wheel hop during hard braking which compromise traction and steering control. If it happens on a wet surface, I dun wanna imagine.
Those crowns driving at 130 are really a brave lot.
