test no problem, but come to driving taxi,it is a world of difference!don't know the routes is one thing, planning ur time to drive effectively is also very important!but frankly speaking having a sonata or a new car can make a lot of difference to newbies!
Oh no. Taz devil8 passed. Another devil on the road. Welcome to our world of left right centre kena fark.
new members , one can only better if "taught" personally by pax !
aka kena fucked upside down from them .
this is one of those ways to success , hahahaha
u think i never kena fuck before ? everyone kena before lah , slight or terok only .... hahaha
what sylllabus also rubbish , ojt then u will know .
My advice ... first two weeks .
Make it a habit to ask first thing : " Hello , going where ? "
"I am quite new , on the way i might need your guidance , if u dun mind ."
I haven't seen anyone turned nasty after i said that when i was a new driver on the road .
It is a very successful ways of learning .
Of course along the way , photographic memory those road names and landmarks along the way .
Theory is : Pax paid you to learn , and paid you and teaches you ."
Where to find ?
My advice LTA instructors never teach one .
I dare to say , my knowledge of Singapore's route and taxi driving can be anytime better than any instructors out there standing teaching .

how to sign up as trainer for the TDVL?
thanks i try i couldnt keep up the Q thats why thanks to PS 2 U tooOriginally posted by Taz devil8:Just took the test yesterday and luckily passed.
A lot of my coursemates failed Module 3 & 4. Module 3 is really about speed. Must roughly know which category the question is asking. Module 4, knowing your 40 routes really help. My advice is watch the video and try to visualize going through the route. Also take note of the landmarks along the way. Another advice, scrutinize the answers before picking the right one, can be tricky.
Good luck!

U also juz complete your TDVL? Most of my classmates also find that they are short of time to complete the tests, esp M3 & M4. Their restest date is on 5 Nov.
Now waiting for LTA to send me my TVL so that I can start. Any advice how long will it take?
