We are prob the last few batches to take this version of test. (I passed late Aug) New syllabus already started and I heard instructors GOT NO tips to give and the 40 routes its NOT just watch video, student have to input all the roads as part of the exercise.
Here's a tip for the routes (you need to go thru all of it), e.g. Route 25. The difference out of the three choices here will be Thomson Road even though the route from Braddell Road to Lornie Road on the NOTES looks very short (as its not to scale), it still uses Thomson Road. A lot of students even looking at the Street Directory will somehow missed Thomson Road lor. So if you have an eye for detail, they cant give you any more 'corner balls' <- Quote from Mr Young.

passing the test is not a problem,u know there r now more than 93000 TD in Spore!any Tom,Dick or Harry who took the course can pass!the real challenge is when ur driving the taxi!rental to cover,petrol to cover,picky or choosy passengers,where to pick and go,route directions familiarity,motivation of driving everyday with hardly any off day!that's why of the 90000 over who pass,how many really driving!

last time before taking tests thought very difficult,on the day of test,finish without sweat somemore got 1 hr to spare!just walk out and get results,only 3 mistakes!

i and my colleague had come across some of the materials. it is open book some more we do not understand why some drivers would need to worry so much before hand. or even make careless mistake. maybe they are tired after working, like in security or others.

hello "graduatedriver" u think nowadays security guards so easy ah,they also gotta pass the security tests,practical plus theory!only 50 % pass on the first try!i almost fail!what open book!only book allowed is the street directory given by them!i think"graduatedriver"have not taken the test before but can talk cock!

As many said, open book. Master the book (Street Directory). Every question is multiple choice. Compare the routes, spot the difference and check street directory to confirm.

Just took the test yesterday and luckily passed.
A lot of my coursemates failed Module 3 & 4. Module 3 is really about speed. Must roughly know which category the question is asking. Module 4, knowing your 40 routes really help. My advice is watch the video and try to visualize going through the route. Also take note of the landmarks along the way. Another advice, scrutinize the answers before picking the right one, can be tricky.
