Float for each day

I would like to know how much float to carry when we start each day. Would the notes be mainly in $2.00 and coins?

Day shift and night shift different leh ....
Day shifts u need lots of $2 , and preferably some $5 , $10 total $60 should be enough . As day progresses , most time u will find yourself with lots of $10 notes .
Total $2 maybe $40 enough , all in all $100 float .
Coins in a must leh ... esp $1 .
Coin wise , $0.50 less important for me , $0.20 is very important .
And some $0.10 .
$0.05 i waived off , i am never petty over $0.05 with the fare .
I waived as much as $0.20 sometimes . $16.20 , i asked for $16 !

Night like me ....
I prepared about just $30 worth of $2 .
But due to my luck , i always collected $50 note for my first few trips , so i have about as much as $200 for my $10 notes .
Minimum $80 of $10 .
two $50 notes bye bye all my $10 notes , phui !!!

cos for Lake View member like me ..... where i work , my fare are slightly bigger than some others road sweepers .
As in booking + other surcharges .
For some Lake View style ..... not every cabbies can say their call is 99% inside cbd .

25 pcs of 20cts
50 pcs of 10cts

No need so much. 10 $10s, 20 $2s, 4 $5s can liao.....

For me as a newbie i only carry $100 float, Around 4-5pcs of $10 2-4pcs of $5 10-15pcs of $2 Rest all coins but at least must have $5-6 worth of 10cents and 20cents. After 3rd $50 note usually i go petrol station buy drink and snacks to break it down. But i road sweeper so normally not many big notes, only once i got 3 $50 note in a row then later that day a $100 note, but lucky for me before that many small notes.

Coins never really count... My loose Change from my normal days ayt my job i juz dump it in...

$5 - if have... if dun hav wont purple-ly go change...
$1 coins - muz hav for day shift...
the rest of the coins... whenever buy things take back loose change juz throw in...

month end... after 25th... $10 up to 15 or even 20...
coz take pay liao... and a lot of atms nowadays onli vormit $50... pax see taxi uncles as easy money changer...
same as we go oil stand... buy a 2 for $2.20 drink... give the chio bu cashier $50... hee hee...

ok to have so much money but try not to put them all together.
I usually have max 10x$10 in my pocket for change, the rest - somewhere in the cab la.
If hold all yr notes with u when changing, inviting too much temptation for ppl.

I usually do that too, but end up they pay $17 or more and ask me keep the change.

$10 if too many ... i arrange nicely slot into my wallet nicely .
If getting too too much like $200-$300 of $10 , I usually go Peninsula Plaza deposit at least 3/4 into the bank .
Safer ...... if too much became itchy , must buy things , hahahaha

There's too many way to find float in Taxi Driving......
But I'm more concern, is Tay Buan Guan still around in Katong....
My childhood hangout place.....don't know my personal cue still there....hahaha

TBG is long gone and you probably know that. My childhood place too esp the amusement park aft school <Space Invaders, Chomp Chomp>. The fish shop is also my place of visit.
Red house bakery is going to lost its history soon...
Anyway, I dont stay in the east anymore.

Topping up of cash card is very individual.........usually I standby 2 cash card with $30 each..........
Why $30?.....through my years of driving OMO, normally, daily deduction from ERP roughly about $30, knn, government laugh all their way to the bank.......
