Some TD are real funny lot.

1)They are in the miiddle of a long Q of about 10-15 befor he reaches the taxi stand pick up point to get a pax. Yet across 2 streets away few pax are waiting for a cab. Why do not they move around to look for business rather than waiting maybe 30min to an hr before he gets a pax. 2)Taxi running w a hired sign,but no pax inside, 3)Pax inside the taxi,still green sign,meaning available for hire.

1. coz in cbd cannot anyhow pick... also cannot pick 100 meterss from taxi stand... so lan lan wait at taxi stand till the pax come lor...2. sometimes... taxis are hired to send items... by hotels... companies and so on...
OR TDs send lost item back to pax... pax say on meter go over...
OR TD forget to clear meter after dropping pax...
OR juz tat TD 'song' to on meter...
3. forget to on meter lah!!

Well said! i personnally encounter once. Start meter from ubi to Sungei Kadut, just to send samples.

why 6pm to 7pm so many pax inside cbd but no cab..
why after 8pm so many taxi in cbd but no pax...and still alot taxi chong to go inside..

Can not anyhow pick in CBD is applicable to along main rd & during certain hrs,but after these certain hrs has passed,they are free to pick anywhere,even in the main rd.but these ubcle taxi still like to Q at taxi stand. can not pick 100 meteresaway fr taxi stand,I never heard of this strange rule.Anyway also swa many taxi pick up pax within short distance fr taxi stand,so they are not afraifd to be caught by LTA or the company ? -
