My last year summary, me just an average driver....
There is many kind of situation drivers don accept cards beside those points you had highlight.......drink kopi with poor man more often, listen to their plight......
There is many many genuine cases out there.......
How hirer or relief work, me TOTALLY no experience at all.....OMO since day 1, so never commented that before, should be by someone else.......
Although admin fee and GST are borne by the pax, but guys do remember, that pax might be someone you know, ie your wife, your parent, your children...etc......if I myself can't get pass myself mentally, HOW to condone to what CDG been practicing....
If I had to touch on, how I had been dealing with those "idiot" since day 1 when cashless was implemented.....this thread might hit 80pages very fast.......
Brother, up till now you still cannot get over others earning out of your work.
But please learn to accept it, especially so in a capitalised society like Singapore, even a worker with a 2k pay working on the shopfloor, whatever he works, he is sure to get less for his work, perhap only peanut of what he worked, if given that no body gain from his works, he would had take home 5k.
But the capitalists are the one who opened the company,, set up the business and created job for him, they sure wanted to gain 3 folds of ROI on any assets including human asset like this worker.
In another words, we are nothing but modern slave, the ancient slave are given foods just to surivive, the modern slave like many of us, are given in form of cash, that is the different.
And if this worker is going to feel agony on why I work so hard and someone get my share and so on, then, it is very hard for him to go on and work, the shareholders (capitalists) take a big share out of him, the govt with taxation, take a share out of him, the non billable managers and executives in his company also took a big chunks of share out of his works, so he is left with 2k instead of 5k.
Therefore, you must truly understand and appreciate how capitalism work inorder to appreciate that you are alway working for someone who might help you or someone who just sit there.

Taxi Driving was never a easy job, I'm grad I had get out of this shit after several years on the road......the only regretted I had is not to be able to drive for other companies, maybe NEXT LIFE......
