Payment mode are a value added service from the business operator, it require the support from bank to provide such service too. The bank will access and decide is it profitable to provide such as cost are involve.
Cashless payment is common but is not fully in use yet, we are still developing in this area.
What will people see me if i rant, complaint that i can't use cashless to pay for my food in the hawker center, even i can't use Netts to pay at Mac Donald. And my reason is, cashless is so common everywhere.

Gd morn brudder, plastic will be king in a few yr's time you say 😄😄😄 then MAS will be fucking happy cos no need to print notes, imagine how much cost they saved each yr. IMO money will still be circulated in our lifetime.
Perhaps you watch too much sic-fi movies that leads you to have thoughts that we will live in financial Arcadia where everything is paid by card or electronic means. It would interesting to see beggars being tip by passerbys with a transponder or a monk accepting alms via similar devices. Rofl...........

17%? you from which company?
Most ppl I meet still will pay with card - reason, they have to claim from company which take at least a few weeks to a month. They will feel the pinch if their cash, which might be daily affair, is being held up in the process.

A 10% administrative charge on top of total taxi fare is applicable for credit and charge card payments. The prevailing GST is chargeable on top of the 10% administrative charge.
A $0.30 (inclusive of prevailing GST) administrative charge on top of the total fare is applicable for NETS, NETS Flashpay, ez-link and EPINS payments.

the 7% gst is chargeable on the admin fee only, not the cab fare.
eg, fare = $10.00, admin fee = $1.00, gst = $0.07, total fare = $11.07.
if it's 17%, the total fare would have been $11.70..

I only know, 如有真钱就能解决很多问题，有���得能，应为most cards got a limit withdrawal or to swipe. That's why Cash is King. 信用�其实是给有信用的人用的. So it still a long way to fully implementing cashless mode around the world.

Apart from our Ah Tiong friends, do u see any others paying for 10 Rolex watches or 20 LV bags in cash?
How much cash does one needs to go shopping?
BTW, the world would never be able to go 100% cashless, but the number of people using cashless will definitely increase. Those not for it will simply be left behind and business opportunties lost.

Last time, if pax give me company corporate credit card(always stated in the card itself), I know all tricks to CONVINCE the pax, my MACHINE is malfunction......
If personal credit card, they are penalty by 10+7%, so fark it.....if CABCHARGE, knnbccb, kanna more jiakluk from me......
Please, as a TD, slogging our life also must have standard, if TD hard to earn, taxi company SHOULD NOT earning big buck......

I like cashless, cos it means no need to to CDM deposit cash. Sometimes deposit cash also get fed up with those BUAY AUTOMATIC CDG drivers...KNN see long queue liao still BUAY AUTOMATIC....deposit money take own sweet time, eg...some rejected note they try to put in again and again and again, why cannot change the notes and deposit? another eg...1 CDM working another one not working but can print passbook....Deposit money liao dunno how to switch to the other machine do updating...Some lagi best....after deposit money to own account using card then deposit into another few accounts to settle ah long because they manual key in account number without card and the amount is standard $100 or $200 weekly payment type....KNN why cannot one shot deposit then money and use the EMPTY ATM beside to do transfer?
Drive taxi on the road selfish....deposit money also selfish...if not selfish then is brainless...simple logic also cannot understand....

Yes, sometime, this is call the niche of the business, with nets and cards terminal, it helps to leverage your collection better. -
