I was commandeered by a "mute" and became her bus

Thought I'd post my experience today so members who encounter her in future can make an informed decision.
Was cruising along serangoon ave 3 from chuan park condo and at bus stop just before ave 2 intersection, a short and very plump indian lady, with a limp, flag my cab.
On boarding, she shoved $2.20 in coins onto my hand and gestured for me to just go straight. Ask her "go where?" but no response. Pax was a "mute".
Thought this must be all the money she had (or is it the bus fare?), so nevermind lah, just give her a discounted ride nearby.
So slowly gelek, ave 3, serangoon central drive, serangoon central to yck. She would tap my shoulder and point out the way to go.
Then almost amk ave 5 liao, thought must be buangkok only.
Sekali, still go straight! Got impatient and ask her go where and she showed me a "cross" with her hands.
Think, think try "is it jln kayu?" She nodded vigorously and even clapped her hands loudly like praising me for getting it right.
So jln kayu until almost seletar camp. Thought cannot lah, if go inside can get very messy liao. Thought of refunding her and ask her take bus.
Then she pointed to the church just inside the camp. After she alighted, "thank you ah.." came out.
Fare came to $8.70.
Like that also got.....

Let the sin be on her. You did something good.
But even if she was really deaf/dumb, I think she has been doing this way too often. Surely her church members would have advised her on what buses to take, so even if she was handicapped this was taking a clear advantage, something we cannot condone.
About a 3 weeks ago, I picked up a blind man and his friend (or colleague) from Orchard Plaza, but this guy swee, he can send his able bodied friend (a woman) first to Toa payoh then head to Jurong West St 42.
Along the way spoke to him, he's now totally blind, he said maybe 10 years ago, vison still blurry can see shapes etc, now cannot. But he knows which route to take, PIE exit Jurong Canal and once I turned into Jurong west Ave 1, i asked him you know where we are now, he sais yes, because he used to the turns.
Fare came out $28, I discount $3, I know maybe that sounds bad, but he had cash, and insisted on sending his friend home first, plus he told me, it's not often he returns at night, usually takes a bus, but because night and late, he takes cabs. Plus although he's handicapped, he never let that be a handicap to how he lives his life.
This guy deserves my respect. Your woman deserves a screwing!

two , as a colleague , i said u deserve some screwing from us , for spoiling the market .
So u think Poolman will take that $2.20 and do some ferry service for her ?
No lah , i am a professional taxi driver , not professional social service worker .

Sometimes i start wondering ... if i have only $0.50 , can i ask for packet of Kopi from the coffee shop ?
Most likely i'll be turned down and ask if ice water instead , can ? Still got change left .

not that i never do good deed , some other people deserve it more than these people .
taxi is a luxury ,,,,,, if one cannot afford that luxury , pls take other form of transport .

I remember a few years ago ...... midnight .
i was heading home from clementi mrt station .
After Clementi Ave 3 , outside the clementi bus interchange , one old man flag me down .
Face red red .... once he open the door , alcohol smell so strong .
He asked me "$5 can get him to Jurong West St 65 ? Bus run away liao " , with the door open , sitting inside my cab , one leg outside .
I dun even say yes or no .

Taxis = (Part of public transports) Hence = bus fare rate. Haha. If for me, I will not moved my vehicle and show her the INTERNATIONAL MIDDLE FINGER hand sign. Haha. -

Wahhh abeit teh same except mine was he say go serangoon and i ask him i dont noe where after smelling strong liquior and ask him poiltely to take another cab. He obliged faithfully though in drunkard state cause my face really fierce when angry with big eyes macam popping out.....im not a patient guy i guess
