You can convince a few drivers, but doesn't change the shitty driving experience in SG. To be honest I am a culprit of agressive overtaking. If you travel at the speed limit on lane 1, you are guilty of road hogging.
Imagine you travelling on lane 1 with many other vehicles following behind and one of the vehicles is an Ambulance.

Actually no need to keep left after overtaking lah. If says lane 2 cars only doing 80-90km/h on a highway you can go at 100km/h lane 1 no problem. But if got car coming behind faster then you then must siam liao. Even I doing 120km/h I also siam another car which I think is going at 140km/h min. And that car is a Transcab Sampan!!! The driver really got balls!!! That time is 10pm CTE towards SLE I go 120km/h already balls shrink a bit cos moderate traffic. Must salute the Sampan uncle....with pax somemore....Lol

ahtanlor, I not against you. I support you in other postings, but this one, I just say my 2 cents worth.
We cannot conclude that we travelling at speed limit, and other people cannot be travelling faster than us.
What if its a government official with the blessing of the TP?
What if its a fellow brother/sister who is rushing to hospital?
What if its a 5 year kid who got into a bad accident and seeking medical attention?

I ever heard a story of someone overtaking a motorist.
The motorist tulan and started to create problem, end up accident on the road side.
Nobody died in the minor accident, but a small kid in the first car having burns from a home accident died a short while later because he could not reach medical help in time.
A case of 'buay song' causing the life of an innocent child.

Ambulance everyone will give way if not will kanna points + fine.....then quickly follow behind. Very efficient one leh. Imagine traffic jam on CTE I follow one from Bradell to SGH pee..boo..pee...poo....only 15mins nia.....Lol

Lane 1 is for overtaking. After overtaking, keep left. You can stay in lane 1 as long as no one horn or high beam you. If they do so, either speed up or change to lane 2.

actually most of us are guilty of road hogging at times...
12 hours OTR... sometimes fatigue... sometimes see collection up so slow... sometimes thinking of any better route... sometimes thinking of how nasty the last pax was... ha ha...
den we see... y so many cars cut infront from left lane...
o... I hogging the road lei...
usually when tat happens... juz speed up... or cut to the left if need to maintain speeed limit...

bro, mayb u misunderstand as with them what i m trying to say.
the coupe's overtaking was reckless, thats the truth.
if every1 tulan and do this stunt, alot car go scrap yard.
me driving within speed limit doesn't mean i don't give way to emergency vehicles.
when i see 1, whether on on siren or not, i give way.
i seem so many these so call speedster don't even give way to these vehicles.
to them, any vehicles below their speed limit is hogging.
but if there is a tp, who do u think he will catch?
the car driving 70-80 on a 70 ed or someone speeding at 100 on a 70 road?

thats y if i see some1 slower than my speed on the right lane, i usually overtake.
i don't expect the car to give way cos, they got their rights.
since we want go faster, we should do it in a safe way.
