  Compared to Australia, England, Japan and probably Hong Kong, the taxi fares in Singapore are cheaper but since the salary of the average guy in Sg is lower than the aforementioned countries, the taxi fares are definitely more expensive in Singapore.

  yes...

  blame it to the govt...

  TDs want to keep fares unchanged...

  but PTC & LTA wants to increase fares.... so who to blame ?

  increase fare better la... otherwise increase rental, fuel, dono complain to who now food court also increase price... bubble tea also not cheap...

  Taxi fare here is not expensive, but taxi rentals and fuel is expensive

  But hor I know in China they have to push alot of money around RMB70K to get a taxi to drive and condition very fuck up because they do their own maintenance. So I can say our taxi start up cost low and no need worry about maintanence cost.
