  Latest news : NUS had suspended the law professor on July 27, below are the statement I heard from someone:

   

  .....This morning, the Attorney-General’s Office filed charges of alleged corruption against an NUS Law professor. The University has initiated an internal investigation and suspended the professor from active duty....

  Ko's lawyers, Subhas Anandan and Sunil Sudheesan, have said in a statement that the former NUS student will "tell her side of the story when the time comes" and that their client "strenuously denies any corrupt wrongdoing".

  I think getting Subhas for this case is kinda overkill. And it certainly ain't cheap either. Was she even charged?

  She was arrested but not charged.

  If she had done an internship at his firm before, Subhas Anandan might be representing her as a favour.

  Just a theory.

  Subhas as a lawyer means sure guilty one.. only the guilty will look for Subhas and only he will be daring enough to represent those who no other lawyer will touch with a 10-foot pole...

  anyway, the consensus in the interwebs is that the woman damned buang one.. knn prof also got no QC one
