I think aaw82 attended too many NDP.

IT'S NOT AN INSULT but a compliment, dogs are beautiful companions & loyal friends just ask any person whose human friends have long abandoned them. Humans would do well to model their relationship with each-other on & be the kind of friend that an animal companion is. Perhaps we wouldn't be the only species on the planet that wages war!!

see so many movies now made about the japanese occupation - really if the whole coctry did something back then, history would have been differnt. now they make moves telling the world how pitiful their people ere, how sad nanking was, why don;t they made movies about how in the past when they fought and kill one another, after japnese surrender tthey still ight one another? its all about greed and a failure to cum to a reason for unity. now they finally unite and their dirty culture and people just spill all over the wolrd, cotainmating and poluting.

Most Singaporeans here are conservative and civilised.

ya... and the verdict will be a stern warning and life goes on. He will go on the graduate and be bonded, after which he will take his degree to go to a greener pasture. If he is grateful enough, he will say he is thankful to our govt for giving him money... a lot of money that is, then he will end his note by saying gratitude is not love.

NUS to decide on disciplinary action against Sun Xu
SINGAPORE: The National University of Singapore's Board of Discipline met on Tuesday to decide on the disciplinary action against China national Sun Xu.
Earlier this month, Mr Sun posted on his microblog that "There are more dogs than humans in Singapore", to describe how some people would stare at him after he brushed against them in public.
Mr Sun appeared before the board comprising of senior academics and representatives of the NUS Students' Union.
In a statement, NUS said the board is reviewing the matter and will decide on the disciplinary action to be taken in one to two weeks time.
Mr Sun has two weeks to appeal against the decision, if he chooses to.
Student disciplinary appeals are considered by the Disciplinary Appeals Board (DAB), which is chaired by a senior member of the University leadership and comprises senior academics separate from the Board of Discipline. The DAB's decision is final.
The Ministry of Education (MOE) said in a statement that it was not represented in the Board of Discipline and will "let the disciplinary process take its course".
MOE added that "the NUS scholarship administrators will take reference from the findings of the Board in deciding what action they will take with regard to Sun Xu."
MOE also said Singapore universities "seek to cultivate a global mindset and strong cross-cultural skills" and that "it is important for all students to show mutual respect in their interactions with each other, and to exercise sensitivity when posting comments online."
