Penang will probably be crowded this weekend since it's the long hols. Best to go during off peak period i.e. non major festival or school holiday periods. When is mooncake festival? I thought now Hungry Ghost month - quite surprised that mooncakes are already being sold.

Since mooncake fairs are sprouting out in malls already, might as well savour it now.

I think at most i'll have a quarter or 1/8 of a mooncake - then move on to another flavour another day. So pretty wasteful if i buy a few; that's why can only sample in the office. I miss the ping pei ones.
