SIA due to low yields, is slashing fares to fill the seats. Thus the end result is many seats are filled, but profit for SIA doesn't rise~...
So I am competing with other low-revenue customers(travellers) for that seat~...

According to my dad who did the reservations, I'm on standby -3(meaning at present time, the flight is "overbooked" by 3 people, with me being the last.

Very common for airline to pratice overbooking. Standby 3 usually not much a problem. Average no show rate is about 8.5%.

Coz this list doesn't factor in transfer pax o.O~... According to my dad after adding pax transiting from Australia it makes an eye-popping -28 overbooked pax
