My classmate left midway thru our course to serve in Iraq; came back after a year to finish the program. In fact since then he has done at least 3 tours.

Still I was a kid, picking up the water bottles from the dead soldiers only to be spanked teruk by mum and dad. But now remembering those, it still haunt me.
