I hope it can released by the end of this year.
To get a route running it, you need to edit the settings.cfg file:
Line 24-27:
; --- type of content to load ---
contentType = route ; can be 'route' or 'object'
contentFile = H:\openBVE\Railway\Route\North-South Line\North South Line 0.5.20100307 Official JUR - BBT .csv
My NSL route finally goes beyond 50 fps here!

Why so ma fan (麻烦 / troublesome) one?? And the running it means drive it....??

No. It acts as a route viewer, but the frame rate - it's "BOOMZ" here.
NSL increase 300%, CGA went from 1 fps to 52fps!

Your CGA is 0.5 or 0.8??
I see, still a Route Viewer? So only update the Route Viewer component??

0.8. With no PSD - ANIMATED objects not implemented yet.
Route Viewer for now. Main point is the renderer, which is a lot faster, by up to 500% in frame rates.
Not fast for me, it's the same FPS on a openBVE 1.x versions.
Since accroding to the main article, the "openBVE 2" will have a new name later because in arichtecturally no longer common with current openBVE and BVE, I wonder if later can that "openBVE 2" work with existing routes and trains and double ways (Meaning, I can do a full NSL in a single route, excluding various short working trips or sending back to depot).
Also, there is a part on the curves improvement thing, what does that mean actually? Does it mean currently, we, as the route developers, cannot develop a circular route like Sengkang / Punggol / Bukit Panjang (Due to a circular loop in BPJ Town and bi-direction on BP1 - BP6) LRT or Circle Line (When the commonly believed "Circle Line Stage 6" will link from Harbourfront to Marina Bay with the Circle Line Marina Bay Extension, assuming the Promendae station got crossovers from main line and the extension line, skipping the Dhoby Ghaut part)

No. It will work with current routes, but not "both way".

Sigh. Still need to have 2 teams to do different directions, or else it is a matter of priority.

How I wish openBVE 2 would be released as soon as June so that the lags can be reduced by the new software.. :)

Uhh, its abit ridiculous, the demo was released this year March(If im not wrong), and if it releases this month, I would be jumping high and low. Michelle might have many more files to update before the official openBVE 2 is released.

yes. Actually, now the openBVE 2 does not have a new name (Not so important) that was planned to have, and it does not supports .Animated file and trains. So, it cannot be released at anytime soon.
