We are organising a couple of sessions and workshops:
Introductory workshops:
1) Yoga Twist for Diabetes Prevention
Diabetes is no longer a disease of elderly. The number of cases of diabetes is increasing in the younger generation due to their lifestyle. There is no absolute cure for diabetes, prevent is better than cure.
This workshp brings you to a deeper understanding:
- the causes of diabetes
- the related fuctions of organs responsible for diabetes
- causes and effects of the current lifestyle and diets
- how yoga practices manage diabetes
- yoga to keep the internal organs healthy in a scientific view
You will get to learn a few simple yet effective postures for daily self- practice!
2) Back Bendings for Confidence
Backbends are exciting… it is especially important to listen to your body when practicing them!
The fronts of our bodies are used to present ourselves to the world
Many of us round the upper back so much that we miss the lengthing of the front body. Kyphosis, a most common postural misalgnment in the population. The back hunching prevent us to open our chest and breathe to the fullest. In turn, it leads to low self- confidence, frutrsations and stress.
This workshop leads you open yourself to the world with confidence:
- How your posture may affect your work
- The illness that Kyphosis brings to you
- Freedom of breathing by expanding your chest
- How backbends can improves your confidence level
- Creation of more spaces for your heart
This workshop is especially recommended to people in desk bound jobs, elderly, asthmatic.
Backbends can open our hearts and unleash us into a way of being that is joyful and fearless. And that is certainly worth the effort!
