drop the big names, play the hungry-for-success players... they dont have to be stylish or have brazilian's samba's leg, what is important is that they have to be effective.. people like downing, the natural left footer, should filled the left winger spot instead of joe cole.. as we always see, downing like to put in crossing just like what beckham did on the right, by doing this, both of them can really pressurize the opp's penalty area.. it wasnt easy to defend crosses especially when your team has a striker who is more than 2m... and since many said lampard n gerrard cant play together, den why still put them together....? surely there need to be a DM and a AM.. gerrard's defence ability no doubt.. but putting him as a DM really waste his attacking talents as well.. DROP LAMPARD instead and install hargreaves or carrick or jenas or even nicky butt!! whatever... for center defence, rio-john terry partnership proved too strong for the other contenders like king, brown or carragher.. right back there's neville brothers covering and the uprising richards.. left back, ashley cole should be drop... wayne bridge isnt as impressive.. so, baines should be handed his senior cap.. keeper wise, i dont like robinson.. he gave ppl the feeling that he's too heavy.. recall james or install carson... no green, thanks.. striker owen and rooney still prove TOO much for opp.. crouch as back up.. stevie! listen to me... play like this and euro08 is YOURS!!

haha England wont win anything because technically they're bad. You amounted to something when you had a Bobby Charlton or a Paul Gascoine.
Great with the ball and taking on opponents too.
Now you have a team which doesnt take responsibilty with the ball. Lampards a no trick pony, he's so predictable you can spot him a mile away.
Good thing they've got rid of Beckham, though.
Steven Gerard's the only class act in the team and you've got to build a team around him.
