Iskandar region is booming and my family is considering to buy a property in Malaysia. Has anyone done it? I heard there is a levy for Singaporeans. Great if you could give some resources online on the steps and fees and costs involved.
I bought one at Danga Bay. For Singaporeans, minimum price to buy a property is rm 500 k. There are also legal fees and all. I paid 35% already. The developer will ask for the money only when they complete your unit level. I'm intending to stay in Malaysia and work in Singapore. Do you buy it for investment or just to stay? Investment i guess a little hard since not many expatriates wanna rent.
