hmm .
why do people pursue material gains so much ?
i dont deny i dont , but to do so at the expense of your own health , at the expense of time spent with people you love ; quality time .
isit worth it ?
after all , once you're gone , you cant bring all these to your coffin .
why not live a life you wont regret ?
Ready or not, some day it will all come to an end.
It doesnt matter what you owned, what you were owed or what you bought, but what you built.
It will not matter what you learnt but what you taught.
What will matter is not how many people you knew, but how many people will feel a lasting loss when you're gone.

hahas . but there more things that money cannot achieve , and that money cannot give you the satisfaction and joy you can obtain from these .Originally posted by MooKu:Because for some, there are goals only money can achieve.

it really depends on how much lower or higher i guess. and well, its not enough to just make ends meet. what about your future? what about your children's education, hospitalisation? etc. some times its nto abotu luxury but to be able to have that spare capacity and to retire when there is a need.Originally posted by kiseki:for studyin there's no choice .. but for working ?
settle for a job you really like , with lower pay ,
or a job you hate , but pays highly ?
what's worse is a job with low pay and you hate, having to slog your guts out everyday . why not look for a change . low pay may mean lesser income , and as long as you can make ends meet , live comfortably(not in luxury) , then why not ?
Originally posted by hisoka:i think its not the case of not being able to find a job they dont hate , its just the attitude .

i agree with this . ahahas .
and of course confortable life is quite subjective. some poodles prob think having to stay in less than a condo or nt having a driver is a torture....
besides the person sometimes just cannot find or get a job which they don't hate and with at least reasonable pay.
true. you could say that. but then, i guess that would be putting it too far.Originally posted by kiseki:i think its not the case of not being able to find a job they dont hate , its just the attitude .
hahas . and you're true in a way .Originally posted by hisoka:true. you could say that. but then, i guess that would be putting it too far.
otherwise one could say that there should be nothing you hate or love, its just the attitude.
